I'm not an American, but the kind of media and culture I'm exposed to is almost exclusively English speaking... that does include Britain, thought to a lesser extent than the U.S.

About Wild Cards - I don't know, I found myself wishing that many more of the wacky support characters with the "meh" powers would get killed off in the big action scenes in the end. It ended up feeling more heroic than dark. I did like that German dude, Lilith and Jonathen Hive. Drummer Boy was also nice. The rest, meh. Not nearly as awesome a cast as the original. I miss the Turtle, the Sleeper and Doctor Techyon.
SeeDarkly_X wrote:Lord Snow wrote: I do like what I read of Wild Cards... the first couple of the old books, and then the first of the new series (the one with the reality show), and that one kind of bored me.
