Hawk, I actually think that there will be three of them. If you look at your subscription, Ranzak and, I believe, three other cards are listed. Also in another post, not sure which right now, Vic said that we will be getting an impressive stack of promos for GenCon. Just something to think about.
I'm pretty sure it will just be two at GenCon (though I admit that is all from inference and speculation). Since Ranzak is for sale now, I would imagine that, if anything, he will be for sale at Gencon. And I think the other promos in the subscription are not going to be at Gencon (besides the 2). Vic even mentions at the end of the post that subscribers will get more than those 2 with their subscription in August.
Compare with RotR last year. If you went to GenCon you could get Fire Sneeze, because it was the convention promo. If you bought RotR at GenCon 2013, you got Poog of Zarongel.
I'd imagine GenCon 2014 will be something similar. It looks like there will be one you can get for simply demoing the game (or asking nicely). The other you get if you buy S&S at GenCon.
Here Vic says for August subscribers will get Ranazck (the Free RPG Day card), the July Retailer Kit promo (see below), the August Retail promo (available if you purchase S&S at GenCon and also sent to FLGSes), and the convention promo (available for demoing S&S at GenCon and appearing at other conventions throughout the fall).
The July Retailer kit promot seems to be one that was sent to retailers in a "retailer kit". I'm kind of surprised we haven't heard any more info about it yet.
Also, since there are 12 total, and 4 are being sent to subscribers in August, that leaves 8 to be spread out over the other 5 months of the S&S subscription. That means you will average 2/month as a subscriber! With RotR, there were only 2 months were you got more than 1 promo. S&S is loaded with promo goodness.
I'm so jealous that I can't go to these events. Too bad you guys can't make it out to GA and come to a few events. We will show Paizo a good time.

Retailer kit? Promo package? Will there be new promos in there? Or just the old ones from RotR?
If assume that PACG subscribers will get every promo for free with their subscription...Hopefully there are no new promos in this retailer kit as i have here no direct access to a paizo retailer in germany... It would be unfair, so i had to buy these expensive thru ebay. I would not like it...

A promo. Other than Ranzak, we don't know what the rpromos will be.
If you resubscribe with the Character Add On Deck, you will get all the promos.
