That's SENATOR to you, serf!
Nice website ya got here. Be a shame if sumthin happened to it.....
My momma done told me...to get something for dinner.
The power of Kord compels you!
Huzzah for early departure from work (although not the reason for the early departure.
Double huzzah for half work day tomorrow.
munches some popcorn and does the Dance of Joy
Happy Friday!
I should say..."(Somewhat) Happy Friday!", as I believe I might have caught baby girl's cold.
Still, it IS Friday, and that means Family Movie Night. And that means pizza!
Mmmmm...pizza
Also, popcorn is totally a breakfast food. I don't care what the doctor says. Dude's probably a damned commie anyway.
Technically, at the moment, I'm reviewing the company's updated QMS document. Shhhh....
Finally moved all remaining PE Exam reference material back into my office at work. My shelves don't look so empty anymore.
There is, however, still room to add more books.
More books are always cool. I'll have to remember to check out the Half-Priced Books engineering section (yes they have one) next time I'm there.
Damn that curly-haired devil!
A new alias. It has been awhile. It's all CH's fault.
Should I have a third cup of coffee?
Speaking of hot drinks....
...Safety Moment in our Lunch and Learn the other day brought up a study that links drinking excessively hot beverages with cancer (especially of the mouth and throat. I was too far away from the screen to read the details, but it said something about the hot temps causing an inevitable build-up of scar tissue that can increase the chances thereof.
Interesting.

Sitting at the Chevy dealership, having some routine work done on the Trailblazer. Sitting here in the waiting room, someone put a BBC channel on, and they're showing old episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation. I'd forgotten how awesome this series was.
Oddly enough, the sounds of a child crying can (on occasion) actually be rather pleasant.
It all depends on the child, and why it's crying.
I always find it amusing when I see a kid melting down over nothing.
Indeed.
These days, I experience something like that at least once day.
Caught Reservoir Dogs on last night. Such a f$*#ing awesome movie!
Random Walmart purchases: garden gnome and The Last Witch Hunter on Bluray!
I liked that movie, actually. I made a point of going to see it in theaters. We D&D geeks need to stick together..
I might watch it tonight. I'd have to wait until the wife finishes her show, however. It's that romance novel masquerading as time travel adventure - Outlander.
Please, don't think less of me.
I watched the first one. It wasn't terrible. I just have no urge to continue with it as the series was a particular favorite of my ex-wife. Just like I'll probably never watch True Blood again.
'Tis a bright, sunshiny Sunday morning! Mayhap I'll journey to Academy Sports today. I've been contemplating the purchase of a new gun safe. I need a bigger one.
I see the ignorant trolls are at it again. Looks like I picked the wrong week to return to the Off-Topic Section.
Luckily, having been a parent for a few years now, I've become used to dealing with the rude and terrible behavior of children.
In other news, found what looks to be a really good source for the kind of safe I need - a store that specializes in them.
Now it's just a matter of figuring out whether I want a biometric lock. Seems cool, and secure, but I'm worried about reliability.
Yesterday, to keep the boy occupied, I let him play Wii sports for an hour or two. That got me in the mood for some old-school video gaming, so after the kids were in bed, I started in on Super-Metroid. Good times.
Speaking of my old X-box. I really should find a place that does repairs to things like that. The disc tray has been giving me trouble for years now, and I doubt it sitting in a box for the last few years did any good.

When I still attended church, I used to enjoy trying to get small kids to cry. I'd even practice the faces to make at them to get them going.
Does that make me a bad person?
My supervisor is on vacation all week. Sadly, this is not necessarily good news for me. He left me a document to work on, but didn't actually explain what he wanted me to do with it.
Mayhap rearranging paragraphs so the first letters in each line vertically spell out "SUCK MY BALLS"?
Funny related story - back when I worked in Philly, a buddy of mine got a parking ticket and for some reason had to pay a fine and write some kind of letter acknowledging what he did was wrong. So the vertical in the main paragraph spelled out "Kiss My Ass".
