Plus, I'm a little tired. I stayed up way too late, but got into my rewatch of Happiness and wanted to finish it.
I think one thing I like about that show is it truly had a pretty happy ending. The bad guys got what they deserved. A good many of the good guys got their happy endings. Or happy-ish, I suppose. It depends.

Though she might not get a chance to join art club this year. Apparently, the club is doing a year long project of murals around the school, and are limiting membership. So they're going to have tryouts.
I know my daughter has some talent as an artist, but we shall see. Personally, I think whomever is running the club is an idiot.

Good gods, AT&T! Could your customer service be any more horrible?
I went to pay my bill today, and at first it showed my account as having no payment method. Even though I paid a bill just a month ago, with the same payment method I've had with them for years now. I called to find out why it had been deleted, and after waiting on hold for about 7 minutes, the service rep had...No explanation.
So then I went to put my payment method in again, and the system wouldn't let me do that. Called the customer service line back, and while I was on hold (AGAIN), my payment method suddenly reappeared.
Seriously, a company shouldn't be throwing that many obstacles into the path of someone who wants to PAY THEM MONEY!!! Damned idiots.

Going back to the boy's freshmen orientation yesterday. A few notes about the event:
- There were far more young ladies at the school than dudes. I mentioned that observation to my son, and he said it was much the same at his middle school. I told him that could be a good thing.
- His new school is apparently the only one in Texas with a JROTC program for Space Force. I found that intriguing.
- They have a cool robotics club. The kids were operating their robot around the room, and I asked if they were allowed to weaponize it. They said no. I asked "Where's the fun in that". My comment got a chuckle from them.
- Modern high school cheers are lame.

Anyway, on to a more pleasant topic.
At dinner last night, I put on some animated Justice League Unlimited. After watching a few episodes, I went perusing through other items available on HBO Max, and came across a bunch of the DC movies. My daughter mentioned she had never seen the second Batman movie and asked to watch it (thus making me proud). She even made goo-goo eyes at me.
So, we watched Batman Returns. Great movie.

Picked up my new glasses yesterday evening. I've been wearing them, but I'm not too sure about them. It's supposed to be the same frame, but feels different. That might just be a "takes some getting used to" thing.
However, I don't think the new lenses are much of an improvement. In fact, they seem a bit off. The doctor told me there would only be a slight change, so maybe I need to give it a week or so....

I keep hearing good things about that new movie released yesterday. It's called Weapons. It has a lot of MCU alumni in it. I was debating going to a theater to see it, but probably won't.
I don't like going to theater's by myself. Not sure the boy is ready for a movie like that. And my wife has no interest in horror movies. So I don't have anyone to go with.

And I saw news that Dave Bautista has been cast as Kurgan in the new Highlander reboot. That's...disappointing. He certainly looks intimidating, but his acting skills are vastly inferior to not only the original Kurgan, but his fellow castmates in the remake as well.
Ah well, as much as I like Henry Cavill, I think I'll probably stick with the original. I've got that on physical media.

I had considered giving the dog a bath today, but I think that'll have to wait. If we did that, we'd have to be finished and have the dog dried off by 10 am. I don't see that happening.
Plus, the dog has been limping a bit, so I'm leery of the whole bath thing, since it involves a lot of manhandling her.
We'll see how I feel after I finish my second cup of coffee.

Our refrigerator is on the fritz a bit. Yesterday, I changed the water filter, and suddenly the water pressure on the dispenser dropped drastically. I thought it might be a bad filter, so put the old one back in. Still low pressure. Switched back to the new one, and that's when I noticed water would leak in the back of the fridge whenever I removed one of the filters. So I think maybe the seals in the fridge itself might be bad.
I really don't want to start dismantling my refrigerator and poking around back there. So I'm going to call a service company on Monday and see if they can come out and do it instead.

After my usual bit of afternoon reading and laundry yesterday, I had to decided on what TV watching to do in the evening. As I was surfing across Netflix, I came across an older movie called Copycat. It's a murder-thriller starring Sigourney Weaver and Holly Hunter. Great movie.
So I watched that. Then I started a rewatch of Gyeongseong Creature.
