What to do with at 10-foot tongue, or, how to use Agile Tongue

So I thought I'd make a Grippli ranger for a game I'll never get to play, and I saw this feat:

And, personally, it looks really cool, but I'm wondering what all can be done with it. I at first thought delivering toxic skin poison, but the fort save is butts, and I probably wouldn't have the feats or BAB to be good at stealing or disarming. But is there anything else cool to do with it? I notice it allows Sleight of Hand; does that mean I can retrieve items with it or do other things? What is the limit?

I'm just curious if this feat is even worth it for a ranger, and if so, what would I need to make it good? Has anyone ever used this feat at all and done cool things with it?

There could be some uses for it, but as a ranger it does limit the usefullness a bit. A caster with the ability to make 10' touch attacks seems pretty nice.

Well, since you are a full BAB class, using it for the combat maneuvers isn't a bad idea, even untrained. Provided you have a decent CMB, you can make disarm attacks at reach. You would provoke from your target, but if you do it right, your target won't be within reach to use that AoO. So disarm at 10 feet (dropping the weapon in your square if you choose), 5-foot step into range, then use your remaining attacks without worrying about getting hit back. If they want their weapon, they'll have to move around you (provoking an AoO) and then they have to pick up the item (provoking another AoO) and are out of actions.

It's situational, but it could be handy.

I see. I wonder if, having 10-ft reach, you threaten for the purpose of AoO's. It would be fun to be able to disarm people who come within 10 ft of you.

I really wish you could manipulate a weapon with it. Would let you use a bow while climbing...

Imagine a high grapple for the chance to swallow whole? That is the theme behind the Nasty Orc at least. He can eat anything and he had prehensile tongue like 15 to 30 ft long.

You don't threaten with it, only because the feat doesn't say you do. You can, however, ready an action.

Best things I have heard are a maneuver based rogue or combat oracle maxing disarm or steal or a aberrant sorcerer (fits with race) and a eventual 25ft tounge attack is golden.. nevermind true strike disarms etc

Repose domain is better - after all la petite mort (the little death) is what staggered is all about.

Makes for a more unusually interpreted doctrine of pharasma for rp bonus.

I am not sure if being small will make the combat maneuvers worthwhile, even with full bab. Swinging from the ceiling seems cool.

As for calistra...Well I'll keep that in mind if she needs to befriend any princesses.

OMG best idea ever. Seriously. Now I need a grippli boon for PFS. I sent mine from Gencon last year away, unfortunately, in exchange for a Dhampir I believe. Damn.
