It's been 3 years since the end of the War of the Lance, and the Lands of Ansalon are emerging into a renewed sense of purpose and prosperity. The old gods, found again, walk the land again in the form of their clerics, and in rare instances, freshly minted paladins. The elves, known for their close minded attitudes towards other races (rivaling dwarven stubborness) slowly thaws and trade eeks out from the major kingdoms. Human lands fit the regions. some are peaceful with trade, others still under the heel of tyrants and fell beasts.
and worst of all, the kender adventure.
A strange book, a knock off, something that shouldnt exist, has to be returned to its origination point for inspection.
