Overthinking the Weapon Finesse Feat

Rules Questions

Scarab Sages

I think I am overthinking this.

The Weapon Finesse feat says:
...light or one-handed piercing melee weapons...

Does this mean:
light piercing melee weapons and one-handed piercing melee weapons?
or
all light weapons and all one-handed piercing melee weapons?

Please Help.

What your talking about? In weapon finesse it says "With a light weapon, elven curve blade, rapier, whip, or spiked chain made for a creature of your size category..."

Oh, I'm looking at the Advanced Class Guide Swashbuckler playtest. It must be different.

YIKES!

It is different. During the playtest, we usually read that as "a light weapon or a one-handed piercing weapon" (which matches the Duelist weapon restrictions).

The revised guide should be out after GenCon, though, so it might be completely different at the end of the summer.
