The Dwarves of Forgeholm have will make the finest arms and armor in the land...exquisite items of iron, steel, mithril and other exotic and rare metals. As we outfit ourselves, we will also take "orders of interest" from other crusaders in the River Kingdoms. It may take a bit of time to refine our craft, but there is no doubt Dwarven gear has been, is, and will be the best metalworks available outside of the Five Kings.

For those interested please send an "order of interest" to Fanndis (that's me), Lord of Elder Days (aka Gorim Goldhammer), Rudar Rockborn, or Marlagram (aka Daklas). Tier 1 gear should be plentiful, so we are taking bulk Tier 1 orders, as well as orders for metalwork Tier 2 arms and armor. Tier 3 will be far enough in the future we will push that out for at least six months or so, and see how things develop.

Regards,

Fanndis Goldbraid

I understand you're all excited about this and have probably been discussing it a lot internally but how exactly is this supposed to go down when we don't even know what types of arms and armor are available, what tier they are or what they are made of?

Just sounds like you're jumping the gun a little bit.

What are you charging for these orders?

Goblin Squad Member

We are certainly not jumping the gun. Remember, these are "orders of interest". And no, since there is no economy we have not priced a thing. But if you wait, you will be in the back of the line. Put your name on the list, or not. We already have a few orders so it would be a good idea to make your interest known.

I would like to place an order for "enough". How much is the deposit?

I'd like to place an order for everything from now until the end. I'm getting a monopoly!

**Well met Fanndis, I would like to place an order for my brother Kaius, who will require a longsword or gladius (preferably cold-iron) and two very nicely crafted rings that I will enchant.

You may reach me at the Azure Astra Arcanum college within Brighthaven. I expect discretion and a quick delivery.**

In all seriousness, do I get a discount? Of course, considering what I am paying it would be hard to give me a discount, for what form could that take I wonder? Indeed why should I desire a discount, considering all that has been said? Indeed what would be gained and what would be lost? Where does greed enter the picture, and where bartering? Sympathy, apathy, empathy, contemplation. As always, friends...

I think the dwarven response would be: "Ya do 'ave money to pay me though, right?" ;)

This is a place in line to gauge interest. Not including the "interest" noted here, we do have 6-8 legitimate requests for gear (once the system is revealed and we take our place in the River Kingdoms). If you want to be in the front of the line for well crafted Tier 1 gear, and early Tier 2 gear, now is the time!

My first thought about our incentive was in the form of advertisement:
- Not enough threads? Can't thread both your armor and weapon? Buy our war axes too! Sixpacks for 5% discount! :)
Seriously though I think about having one of Forgeholm's specializations as crafting is good. Well, sitting on mountains of iron ore (literally!) what else you will train if not crafters and fighters?
Futture will tell and our Council of Elders will decide, but I think assessing this market segment before all things starts to roll is decent idea.

Good day. Approaching 20 so far. Thanks for that, and still queuing up anyone else who is interested.

Dear Forgholm Smiths-

I require at your earliest convenience a set of Tier 2 Harvesting & Gathering Tools/Implements. I would normally have the KotC Ring of Iron commission this but I believe wholeheartedly that Trade between Settlements is worth investing in and promoting, even if only hypothetically at this point.

Now that the Land Rush is over, it will be easier for our friends, neighbors and interested parties to communicate with each other and work out details for these kind of crafting orders.

Forgeholm intends to be a major player in high end crafting goods, especially those related to metal, stone and gems. Get your trade orders in, contact Fanndis for details!
