Pathfinders:
I am putting out a call for GMs to run some Pathfinder Society Games at Scotty's Brewhouse on Wednesday, August 13! If you have played or run games at Scotty's before, you know what a great time it is! We are very fortunate that Scotty's has once again made space available for us.
Because of the timing requirements (we get some tables longer than others), and in an attempt to maximize the space we have, the three slots will be:
8 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
12:30 p.m. - 5 p.m. (we lose most of our tables at 5 p.m.)
5 p.m. - 9 p.m.
If you are interested in running a scenario, please e-mail me the following information:
1. Your name
2. Your PFS number
3. A phone number (used in case I need to call or text you around event time)
4. What slots(s) you would like to run
5. What scenario(s) you would like to run
6. Whether or not you need the scenario(s) you want to run.
7. The email address you use for paizo.com
You can send the e-mail to me at mark.stratton@gmail.com.
If you choose to run in the last slot, please try to pick a scenario that can be completed within that time. There is no guarantee we will get extra time.
Once you do, I will provide you with the information to get to the Warhorn site. Once I get a few tables worth of GMs, I'll open the Warhorn up to players.
Thanks in advance for all of you volunteering to GM!
Mark

I'm up for running some Pathfinder. I emailed Dave to see if the back room is available for rent and if not, if I can make some sort of arrangement (financial or other) to sit outside this year. That was great a couple years ago when we could (of course it comes down to turning tables around every hour for $).

All:
There is no volunteer/GM meeting. HQ will be open from 3 p.m - 5 p.m. on that day for people to pick up badges, shirts, etc.
So far, here's what GM's have offered to run:
5-18: The Stranger Within
Masks of the Living God (Module)
If there is something specific players want to play, they should let us all know here so a GM might agree to run it. :)
@Kyle:
I doubt the back room will be open. I believe Dave told me there is a group that already has it all day.

Most of the tables we only have until 5 p.m. So, when we were able to take the earlier start time, I took it - and then shortened the slots a tad so I could get two games at each of those tables (and we have a few additional tables beyond those where we can play until 9) I was just trying ot maximize our opportunity to play :)
I reallly hope we can do well in filling that 8 a.m. slot.

I'm hoping to continue my tradition of running the Free RPG day mod at Scotty's. From the reviews so far, Risen from the Sands sounds like a bit of a meat grinder for the pregens. We managed to get everyone alive (or at least not permanently dead) through Dawn of the Scarlet Sun a couple years ago, so I'm hopeful that a good time will be had by all...
See you there!

Just confirmed with Mark:
I will be running Lost at Bitter End for the early slot. It is a season zero - but that should be good for the new people who might never have played much of the old stuff but have a (or several) high tier characters.
In addition my son will be GMing 'We Be Goblins'. Can't leave him on his own - but convinced him to GM. He has done this module 3 times before and I feel fine to let him lose on some stangers.
If you dislike to be GMed by a 13 year old - then stay away from We Be Goblins in the morning. But you will miss something - we old ones can't do goblins that well - at least I can't.
I hope that is a good mix for some who have done a lot of gaming and might miss one of the older ones and for some who just start and haven't done 'We be Goblins' yet.
And we shouldn't stress out the GMs who will be running lots of slots at GenCon proper.

Still needing quite a few GMs. I have picked some scenarios since I didn't hear from anyone else.
So, if you can and want to run a slot (or 2 or 3!), hope on over to the warhorn site and volunteer to GM!
I'm hoping to get some con support from Paizo for this, but for that to happen, I need to have a certain number of tables go off, and I need to have the request form in to them within about 2 weeks from now.
Hope to see more GM sign ups!!!

I do want to add that we only have three tables available to us in the evening, and two of those are already full. I don't have any capacity to add more tables to the third slot.
I do have a couple of extra tables I can add earlier in the day, and I will end up doing that, but I'm waiting for some of these others to fill up before I do.

Pathfinders,
As of now, I am still in need of GMs for the following slots/times/scenarios:
8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.: #3-16: The Midnight Mauler
8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.: #5-08: The Confirmation
8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.: #5-22: Scars of the Third Crusade
And, of course, many of the games still need players. I know there's still 4 weeks (from today!) to go, but I'd feel a lot more comfortable know I have GMs at every table.
:)

8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.: #5-08: The Confirmation
8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.: #5-22: Scars of the Last Crusade
12:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.: 5-19: The Horn of Aroden (there are two tables, one of which has a GM. I need a GM for the second table.)
Thanks, everyone!

At some point, perhaps in the middle of next week or the week after, I am going to have to make a "Go/No-Call" on these tables, and the other tables which have no players signed up. I realize that's two weeks out from Gen Con, but I'd rather not wait until the last minute. Scotty's has been generous enough to give us these tables, and Paizo is providing some convention support for this event, which is great. That support requires at least 15 tables. If, by some chance, we were to fall below 15 tables, I wouldn't feel right using the convention support. So, help us out if you have the time and interest! :)
I hope we can find GMs for these three tables, plus players for the slots that still need them.
I will likely continue to post the update daily until all GM slots are filled. Then, I'll more actively promote the player spots.
Thanks!
