Simple question - destroyed magical item.... repair ?

Rules Questions

In theory should be a yes/no question but seems harder than expected to find an answer...

Destroyed magical item, -12412421 hp.

Makewhole repairs if double CL YAY, easy !

Any other way ?

I understand the repair for half price and half time as repairing a damaged item and not a destroyed item ( because destroyed = all its magical power is lost.

I understand that if that's the case, it makes repairing destroyed magical items extremely hard and maybe unpractical, but in my mind, that's the price to pay for destroying a magic item, all magic is lost.

I don't think there's any other way. Luckily, it should be a handful of diplomacy checks to find a CL40 caster with nothing better to do than restore the staff of the magi after you do a retributive strike.

"Easy". Yesh indeed.

Assuming you can find a level 18 caster to fix your +3 sword, a level 24 caster to fix your +4 sword, etc.

By easy I actually meant explicit, sorry, it cleary states you can repair a destroyed item with it.

Any other means of repair is much less explicit......

Any other way of repairing a destroyed item than Make whole ?

Miracle, Wish, remke totally from scratch... that's about it.

11th level Soul Forger can repair a CL 8 item if his int is 18, and you restore his levels...

A scavenger's stone can do it, but it'd have to be a CL 3 or lower item.

A construct channel brick can allow channeled energy to repair damaged objects, but I do not know if it would work on a destroyed object. I suspect the intent is that it does not work.

Repairing Magic Items

Repairing a magic item requires material components equal to half the cost to create the item, and requires half the time. The make whole spell can also repair a damaged (or even a destroyed) magic items—if the caster is high enough level.

I'm guessing this means you can reforge the pieces.
