timeline on pathfinder mat money being pulled?

was hoping to get a pretty official answer to the question of, I bought one of the mats, pre ordered technically, and even though it seemed like I was paying directly, seems now like the money gets pulled close to release like things in subscriptions, unfortunately this is inconvenient for me, hard to explain those details, id just like to know when I could expect the money to be pulled for the mat so I can be sure to have money nessasary in the bank, thanks

I think they pull money when they ship. One option I think you can do, is to purchase a gift card for yourself and redeem it for store credit. Then set your orders to use available store credit. I've not done that myself, but I think it would work.

Yes—we charge your card only when we ship your order. I can't give you an exact date for the mats (they're an UltraPRO product, not a Paizo product, so we don't control the release date) but I believe they're still due in August.

I'd have to agree with Hawkmoon here. If you're worried about when money is going to be pulled later, it is better to buy the store credit sooner and let it be there when the item ships.

I'd have to agree with Hawkmoon here. If you're worried about when money is going to be pulled later, it is better to buy the store credit sooner and let it be there when the item ships.

ive never bought store credit and such before, can someone explain to me exactly how to do that, I saw the gift card ting and whatnot, but does it have to be a specific type of card? where do I go on here once I have the card to get the credit? etc.

You buy a gift card, which can be set to any amount you want. Buy it for the price of the mat +shipping.

Once you have completed the checkout on the gift card, go to 'My Account'. One of the options there will be 'my gift certificates'. Click on that, and there will be your gift card code, and a redeem your gift card option. Enter the code to that, click redeem, and the credit will be added.

I'd then check with Customer Service to make sure that the credit is going to be applied to your preorder.

I regularly do this. I buy a gift card when I have cash and use it for my subs.

The last few times I have done this there have been issues redeeming the card. I have had to contact customer service in order to have the amount of the card applied.

So don't panic if you don't see the gift card code show up on your account page. Just send customer service an email and they will help you out!
