Pro RP settlements and companies?

Pathfinder Online

Just curious who are the pro rp settlements and companies of the game at this point. I'd also love to know if there are any rp-pvp groups out there. I have alot of rp friends who are interested I just want to let them know who they can go to if they wish to join a settlement/company/etc. Medium and Heavy rp organizations would be especially great, but Light ones are fine too. Just state which level your group is in terms of rp.

The 7th Veil is at least medium RP, probably leaning towards heavy. We do not obligate RP though.

heavy pro company here

Taur-im-Duinath is Pro RP, but open to non-RPers with very light rules of behavior. Here's an extract from our charter.

For those with little interest in RP, we just require that their character name be appropriate (PFO will have a good character name generator) and that they follow very simple guidelines within the settlement to not ruin other players immersion (basically, if you are not interested in RP and are moving around in the settlement just act as a taciturn, non-talkative Elf :)). Depending on the game mechanisms, we intend to clearly identify communication channels that are RP or not. Typically the communication channels required for Settlement and Companies operations be non-RP.

Thod's Friends are heavy RP. Our base comes from members of the Pathfinder Society organized play environment.
We do have a local scripe - Theodum - who chronicles what is going on in RP terms (albeit it seems there is some bookburning of his works happening right now).
We are also a guild that looked for the settlement spot for RP reasons first and build this into the guild.
We are working on non RP stuff as we speak (like website, structure, etc.). So there should be no fear that we are non-functional because of RP.
I don't mind if some might understimate us - believing RP means weak in MMO.

Stone Bear Clan should be considered Med-RP PvP. We encourage RP but don't require it and we have a Barbarian culture themed through out the Company meaning you don't have to be the Barbarian role, you can be any role and still be a Barbarian of the SBC. A lot of us will be role playing drink loving, adventure seeking, fire setting savages with volatile tempers and have crazy fun doing it. We like to RP in-game as well as write In Character stories out-of-game. Make note that we are a Chaotic Neutral Company.

If that sounds like fun come drop by and say hi. Become a Barbarian!

The UnNamed Company is a light - medium RP group.

The Keepers of the Circle supports all levels of RP. I know I intend to support it heavily, and I'm certain we have Keepers that won't RP at all. We haven't made a specification at present, but I'd guess Medium. It's actually come up recently in our discussions, so I'll update here with any more specifics. Also, you'd like find a good fit for RP-PvP within the Circle in the Rings of Light, Steel, and Wood. All three have had active
RP-focused forum posts in the past and are working to tie their Ring functions into a greater story/background.

TEO has numerous members that enjoy and encourage RP though it is not forced on anyone. I'd put us somewhere between light to medium, probably a bit heavier on the medium side. Numerous of us are within Pathfinder and other pen and paper groups, as well.

Fidelis is a medium RP company. We promote RP, but it isn't required of any of our members.

Judging by our partners, Full Metal Syndicate and Peace Through Vigilance, I would imagine that Ozem's Vigil will be a good home for any who like to role-play.

The Companions (hex AD) is pro RP. I haven't consulted with all 16 members but the medium level seems appropriate.

My 2 characters are into heavy RP.

The Marquise is a noble lady from Taldor wanting to make a name for herself. She is quite ambitious yet probably not really prepared for what is to come in the River Kingdoms.

She was raised in the grandiose city of Oppara, in an environnement where money was never a concern because money was never lacking. While not greedy, the Marquise love numbers and got involved and volunteered in the Bank of Abadar in her rebellious phase. While she may overestimate she banking skills, her status in Oppara meant that people (pretended to) listen attentively to what she say on money matter. Beyond the concept of money, she likes to see numbers grow and see her vacations in the River Kingdoms as a fun little project of making a small number grow.

The Marquise hesitated between spending her summer vacations in Absalom and perhaps joining the Pathfinder Society but while talking to her dear friend, Gloriana Morilla over tea in this exciting new city, she realised that she would have to follow orders and be sent to foreign and remote locations for numerous weeks with little comfort. No, thank you.

Inspired by discussions she had with her dearest friend, Princess Eutropia, about the vital role of the Armies of Exploration in making Taldor the great Empire it is, particularily the fifth one, she decided that it would be fun to be the one in charge instead of receiving orders. She acquired one of those Goblin Stones and is already picturing herself going back to Oppara after her vacations with tales of taming the wild, settling a new colony for the Glory of Taldor and to impress the Grand Prince Stevian III. Her name will be known throughout the land, she will make sure of it.

Thanks for those who answered so far! Can't wait to see more!

Talonguard is going to be varied. Since the settlement is setup to support any high reputation play-style, we'll end up with all sorts.

I believe I'd already mentioned it in another thread, but we would like to setup something for Talonguard where everything the settlement is involved in is represented in an RP manner somewhere (forums if need be) for role-players to interact with. It'll just be a matter of whether or not there is enough interest, and I can convince a brave soul to volunteer to coordinate it.

To add to The Empyrean Order's roleplaying accessibility, I am going to be requesting that a roleplaying channel be added to our Mumble server so voice communications can be conducted in character.

Had a thought here, for once (you needn't look so amazed, really) that it could be wonderful if there were a triggerable recorder of that RP channel that periodically could become edited into coherent tales, possibly amazing tales.

Sentinels of The Echo Wood is a PvP focused group with a strong RP component.

The Echo Wood is the name of the large forest you see on the Pathfinder Online map, and our home settlement of Aragon resides within it. We have taken on the RP role of protecting Echo Wood and the surrounding area (pretty much the entire map up through open enrollment) from slavery and abuse of the natural world.

Definitely a good place to be if you are a PvPer who also enjoys RP.

Anyone know if Golgotha is pro rp?

Hûd Glanas Edhellen (League of Elven Purity) is a heavy RP group of Elves. Follow the link to learn more about us.

For those of us in the kickstarter, it boggles my mind how one could not be a roleplay fan boy or girl. :D

Dat Golgoblah town am full ob ebil deadies an 'sassins an orcs, an dat mayk Guurzak happy.

(Pax is generally roleplay positive but not required. A lot of the sort of people who will be interested in an openly evil settlement will be drawn for roleplay reasons. Some of the companies which make Golgotha a home may have an "always in character in public" policy.)

Try UNC. From the beginning Bluddwolf has wanted to play a robber and bandit!

**Golgotha is an RP PVP settlement. A moderate to high RP setting, but RP is not required**

House Karnath welcomes those that travel the true path of power.

I run a cult to Norgorber! Because the Blessing of Pharasma is actually a curse, and this gnome won't play her games.

Also because their herald is called The Stabbing Beast.

We of Forgeholm aren't averse to verbal RP (though it's not required). But we're heavy RPers not in our words but in our our deeds. Anyone seeing our location can say that only dwarves and dwarf-friends can choose such place. So we are already RPing.

Goblin Squad Member

This is basically where we are at, as well.

You could consider any arm of Pax to be light-medium RP. I'm going to be helping to coordinate RP events and activities in Fidelis (and with other groups); Pax has a tradition of doing such things together, rather than having a bunch of people "sitting in the dark corner of the tavern", and we aim to entertain.

The Phoenix Brotherhood will support all levels of RP. I personally plan to be a lite to medium roleplayer... but it the character strikes me...maybe heavy.
