And after you've chosen your settlement, consider joining The Named Company and fighting banditry in the river kingdoms.

So many questions about the WoT, Companies, and player population are unanswered. Certain of those answers could make very different approaches to how the WoT is played and what smaller groups really might have to face.
Or not....
Well if only 25% actually participated that would give credence to the assumption that many backers were just in it for the PDFs.
It may also point to the possibility that their lack of interest might continue, even after EE begins or they will give a few months try and leave.
What GW should do at this time, is begin to specifically court the MMO player demographic.
Create a new EE Package (month 3) for $50.00 that does not include the PDFs. With that comes two months of free play.
Edit: I just realized: The $100 package no longer includes the PDFs. They get 3 months and maybe another $25 worth of add-ons.

Worst case, a small group always has the option to simply walk away from their settlement and join up with someone bigger, leaving a ghost town behind.
I wouldn't say worse case, perhaps it is best case. It will leave a vulnerable settlement for other groups to fight over.
The more opportunities for consequence free PVP the better!

Sorry Bluddwolf, what PDFs? I am pretty sure i am into EE month 2, and i haven't got any PDFs. GW shop says 100 bucks and no PDFs for EE...

Yeah I just noticed that and edited my original. I'm not sure $100 is a good price point. They should drop the add-ons and make it $50 buy in for Month 3 access.

Considering the only addon they're offering for the 100 is a consumables pack you can buy for $15.00, I think they'd be unlikely to drop it to fifty.
edit: Maybe month 3 access, consumables, and only 1 month paid for $50

@Bitter Thorn
We ended up going with Hope's End. Their description might not have seemed like a match for us and how we described ourselves but in talking with them we found enough in common to work together.
Thanks to all who offered suggestions and help. It was not an easy decision and several settlements and organizations presented very tempting possibilities.

This is my prediction....
My Guess is this....
Kabal takes L
Tavernhold takes F
Dagedai Alliance takes M
The Gauntlet takes C
Hammerfist Clan takes N
The Guardians take D
vVv Gaming ends up at GEveryone else stays the same.
Tell you what, since it is too late to change anything. Any interested party reveal your top ten choices and Kabal will reveal theirs. Any takers?

Perhaps there is a healthy concern about glorious marches starting close to home?
Golgotha is the military center of PFO's only declared nation. You could be a part of our glorious march to outright domination.

Nice! We (29 guys), Sunholm (33), Hammerfall (35), Blackwood Glade (36), Kreuz Bernstein (30), and Les Compagnons (22) were the only ones on that list who didn't get on the Top Ten! Hooray for Hunker Down bonuses!

I'm pretty glad to see Sunholm on that list. Such fine company. O wasn't out first choice in week 1 - fifth pick, I think, but once we got it we decided that we liked it well enough to slot it as our first pick.
After that we only adjusted our order once - Tavernhold made us aware that they were planning to move, and that O was in their top 5. We adjusted our order to put all picks held by guilds larger than us to the end of the list. Big shout out to Tavernhold for that, by the way, the chance to safeguard our future was greatly appreciated.
