Early Enrollment as a Community

Given all that has been going on over the past few weeks, I have a simple question to ask. If a Goonswarm-type group (or similar) rolls into PFO on Day 1 of OE, does this community of Early Enrollees stand together or do we stand by and watch as our Settlements are gobbled up one by one?

We have all invested a lot into this game, a lot into what we want it to be, and we have developed a community over the past couple of years that has been very active and overwhelmingly positive. There have been some bumps in the road the past few weeks. I'd like to believe we can move past those bumps, and I'd like to believe as Early Enrollees that we are bound by something that separates us from those who may come after us in OE.

I can say that I would view any individual or group that has been involved with EE as an ally/friend if they were to face a Goonswarm threat, and I would act in game to do whatever I could to assist them against that threat.

Yup, I'm with you.

Until someone otherwise violates Wheaton's Law and it directly affects me in game or in the community, I consider everyone in EE my friends, loosely speaking.

There are no massive communities looking at this game at this time.

The Goons, or anyone like them haven't shown much interest in these games based on my research. I could be entirely wrong, or missed a couple of them.

As far as what happens if we're invaded? There will be ways and means do deal with such occurances. Making blanket statements of allegience against a mega guild might not go over so well.

There are a few relationships possible in EE:

1. Cooperate
2. Fight
3. Be Absorbed
4. Be Wiped Out
5. Mind Your Business

In OE all but #5 remain the same. I doubt #5 will be allowed to happen considering the influx of massive numbers and the desire of the OE crowd to have their own settlements.

If you try to stand alone, you will die.

Potato, there are several looking at the game....

CotP(but TEO reps them), and vVv

Talking about groups with 10k+ membership

I can think of two others that have put feelers out.

I can 'bearly' take it.

If a mega-guild came into the light, it would be everyone's responsibility, TEO, T7V, PAX, UNC, Ozem's, Magistry, and everyone else, to band together, as one, and destroy them.

What a shrewd observation, there is something fishy about that. I don't want anymore posts badgering me for puns so I will work doggedly until I think of some.

Actually, on this note, I made Letholdus for the specific meta-game reason to destroy those big guilds if they cause in-game problems.
