Breaking Weapon Property

Rules Questions

Does the additional 2d6 of damage apply to sunder maneuvers? What about golems and other constructs? Do these count as inanimate objects?

I dont think so, usually its really clear when it can affect constructs or wielded weapons. The system normally separates handled and unhandled objects.

Grand Lodge

The damage is against "inanimate objects and crystalline creatures".

Now, depending on how view what makes an object "animate", it should work on most sunder attempts.

Note: The difference between "animate and inanimate", is not the same as "attended and unattended."

Can you put breaking on ranged weapon?

The Exchange Owner - D20 Hobbies

Sunder yes applies
Golems and all constructs no doesn't apply
Animated objects. No doesn't apply

Be aware you need special feats to use a ranged weapon to sunder or to have levels in the Fighter Archer archetype.
