Ravenlute and KC, you must both come to the Keeper's of the Circle Settlement as soon as possible so that I may buy you drinks. Heck, Kobold's initials are even secretly code that he's one of ours already. Hmm, that's probably secret. Should check on that with our Ring of Shadow folks.
You make me laugh. Constantly. And that's good for the State of the Community.
For the record, I favorited this post for the funny initials gag, not the ego-expansion of moi. ;D

Naw, in the yard. Well actually just as comfy outside as in but I had not realized it was so late. I like my girl inside at night. Prevents fights with bandits err... raccoons.

Bringslite, you should probably still keep a leash.
KC you just want my spellbook of healing +infinity?
@ BrotherZael
Lol. The fence was put up so that the poor dog could have more than 20 feet to roam outside.
@ KC
No leash in the yard. I have video of what "small folk" do to lawn gnomes when no one is around...

I'd like to note it is a common TEO/TSV tactic to withdraw from controversy over a point when they are clearly beaten. I suppose it's understandable to not want to draw more attention your own failings. Claims of taking the higher road do offer a great excuse to behave in such a manner.
But anyone taking the high road does not loudly and publicly proclaim they are doing such.
Withdrawing from a controversy when it has actually been decided is simply rational.

* An important note--when Players are portraying Characters that are Evil, I understand and appreciate the distinction and also know that such Players can do this in a way that is still respectful of other Players. I have high hopes for our current Evil and otherwise "bad guy" leaning crowd in this regard. You will set the tone for how others see Evil in this game.
A very important distinction, true.
But one that takes some time for some players to grasp.I suspect it is an easier concept to digest, if you're familiar with being a GM, since you have to portray everyone in the game world that the PCs interact with, good and bad (and the bad can be very, very bad indeed). And do it in a way that doesn't piss off your players.
I've had to have 'the talk' with every new player who's passed through any of my groups;
"I'm sorry it probably feels unfair, right now, but it's not a case of me picking on you; it's this douchebag NPC having a good reason to want to hurt that PC you're playing."
"Oh. That sounds a lot better. It's not personal."
"In a way, the fact that he's going all-out against your PC, is because he thinks they're the biggest danger right now."
"So...it's a compliment?"
"Yes. Yes it is."

Indeed, Snorter. I think there are lessons from our "old days" behind the screen that could definitely help for players that have never had the benefit of a live GM.
On the tournament front, that is actually an idea we bounced around a bit a year or so ago, with discussions of it bouncing from one settlement to the next for hosting. It went dormant as other game aspects needed to be hammered out beforehand, but as we get into EE I would very much like to see it revived. A River Kingdoms Tournament and Fair could function just as the Olympics to bring rivals together for competition that doesn't result in death. And of course, us merchant types would welcome the opportunity for an open market flooded with patrons looking for goods.

Maybe what we need is: 3 months into EE a big "Fair" with competitions in multiple things. Categories to be determined by what is available and measurable at that time. Have some fun. Burn off some of this venom so that we don't carry it longer than we have to.
I propose a ducking stool be set up, since so many people seem to need a good coolin' off.

You mean that fun device that has a person sitting above a pool of water and they get dropped in when someone with good aim hits a target with a ball?
Yes, that is a must.

Reminds me of this..
I relate to you, Ralph. When I hit bottom, I was crushing man's skull like sparrow's egg between my thighs... and I think, why you have to be so bad, Zangief? Why can't you be more like good guy? Then I have moment of clarity... if Zangief is good guy, who will crush man's skull like sparrow's eggs between thighs? And I say, Zangief you are bad guy, but this does not mean you are bad guy.

Yes, that is a must.
More like a see-saw, on wheels, with the 'problem' citizen strapped to a seat, and pushed to the river's edge.
Do away with the unreliability of having to hit a target; just lift your end, and 'splosh'.
Repeat, till they stop acting up.
