I'm a longtime Pathfinder GM. For a change of pace, my players and I want to do some Pathfinder society events (and open them to the public). I was fairly active in Living Greyhawk years ago, so I'm reasonably familiar with how organized play works. However, neither me nor my players have ever played pathfinder society. Since we live in Hong Kong its very unlikely there will ever be a local game unless we organize it, and even online games are scheduled at time that make it impossible to attend.
So, I'm looking for advice about how to start from zero. Any general advice is appreciated, but in particular I'm looking for specific advice about:
1. How do I obtain the scenarios? (I've figured out how to schedule an event but I couldn't figure out where to actually get the scenarios).
2. Can you reccomend a good introductory scenario for us?
3. Is there an information packet I can give to my players that explains what they need to know to play pathfinder society? (Bearing in mind they are experienced at pathfinder itself)
Thanks. Any help is much appreciated.

First steps and confirmation are good places to sta
First steps is even free

Short answer: play a scenario, get a chronicle sheet with 1 xp.Get 3 xp, level up. Wash rinse repeat.

And it's even more important, if anything, that the GM reads it.
You may be able to get support from a regional coordinator - edit: who might be along to comment, as things have moved on a bit since the last mention that I found.

Download the current campaign guide.... READ IT. Go to the section of this message board marked Pathfinder Society. READ ALL THE MATERIAL YOU FIND THERE. The campaign guide is the intro packet for both you and your players. In the back of the guide is the contact email for your nearest venture captain. That person and his/her venture lietutennants are your essential resource.
You obtain the scenarios buy buying them from here. in the section marked Pathfinder Society.

Hey bmcdaniel, welcome to the game.
As there is no organised play yet in your area, there will most likely be no venture captains and luitenants in your area.
Do not worry. You do not need to have any to start playing. It will only get important to have some if the organised play really kicks off for you guys in Hong Kong.
The other things most people have already said. You can buy the play modules, and reading the Guide to Society play. Let everyone that wants to play and GM register here at the website (you need your society number to get credit for the module).
And that's really it. Have fun!
