Many people who have struggle with low self-worth and low self-confidence devise ways to make it APPEAR that they don't have these issues. Over-ego and other such attitudes are a very common defence mechanism.
Daz I will say this, though: Those who want proof he's no dick shouldn't look for it in his Tabletop episode where they play Shadows Over Camelot.
Anybody who's played that game can guess why. ;D
