Sounds like the issue is being worked on. It's probably awfully complicated, since we're talking about three separate buckets of backers (2 Kickstarter drives and Paizo) and making different websites talk to one another can be a gigantic pain.
That said, I would like some idea when Paizo purchasers like me will be able to port our info onto the Goblinworks website. I was able to create a Goblinworks account successfully, but haven't been able to transfer my backer status.
I emailed customer.service@paizo.com, and they sent me this:
If you are:
1: A person who backed the Tech Demo Kickstarter at the Alpha Level2: A person who was conveyed a Buddy or Guild account from someone else who backed the Pathfinder Online MMO Kickstarter (the 2nd Kickstarter)
or
3: A person who purchased an account on the Goblin Squad Store, not through the Kickstater
We ask that you please wait until further notice (which we’ll send out through the Kickstarter system and via email to the Goblin Squad Store users) before you use the new store system.
We are working on a manual system that will allow us to efficiently migrate you to the new store and the new account management system but it is not ready for use yet.

1) The way I got this to work is to create an account on the Goblinworks site.
2) Click on the pledge link tool on the Goblinworks site here.
3) Signed into my paizo account. Click on the "Details" button for the Kickstarter Pledge Drive Pathfinder Online: A Fantasy Sandbox MMO.
4) Fill out the relevant information there and go to the X Send Information tab.
5) Fill in the account info for when I created the account on Goblinworks and then it was linked. (Note I think it says to put in your email but I put in my Goblinworks site username, not my email)
As noted if you are:
1: A person who backed the Tech Demo Kickstarter at the Alpha Level
2: A person who was conveyed a Buddy or Guild account from someone else who backed the Pathfinder Online MMO Kickstarter (the 2nd Kickstarter)
or
3: A person who purchased an account on the Goblin Squad Store, not through the Kickstater
or (apparently)
4. People whose goblinworks.com password contains non-alphanumeric characters need to change their password to only alphanumeric before attempting to link accounts from the Paizo pledge manager
Then this process does not currently work.

My situation is similar to Kryxbyn's I think. I backed the 1st and 2nd Kickstarters (at Pioneer level). On Paizo.com when I manage my Pledge for the 2nd Kickstarter, all the tabs are green except for the one to transfer my information which is grey and X-d out. Navigating to that tab and trying to transfer my information results in an error message that the account cannot be created... I surmize because it already exists on GoblinWorks.Com.
On GoblinWorks.Com I can login to my account (associated with the same e-mail I use for Paizo.com) but it shows that I'm not a Goblin Squad member....and seems to have nowhere to see if my account and pledge transfered from Paizo.com. So Ibasicaly don't know if I have a problem or not. I seem to remember going through this process (or attempting to) previously but have no record of it. So I really have no way to confirm if I have a problem or not. I wrote customer support.
My real suggestion to GoblinWorks is that your feedback to the user in this situation is absolutely terrible. You should include a seperate e-mail to everyone who got the Kicksarter update that the process isn't fully working. The user should also be able to check on GoblinWorks.Com what the status of the Pledge and/or paizo.com account transfer is according to thier records in goblinworks.com so they know if there is a problem. There should be explicit feedback on Paizo.com as to why the tab to transfer the account to goblinworks.com is greyed out...and there should be an e-mail confirmation everytime the user takes an action associated with this process so that they have a record of it. Right now it's just a mass of uncertainty on the users part.
I appreciate it's a very complex process and you guys are working as hard as you can....but better feedback to the user would likely help reduce your support request volume.

I found that the point that several GW-folk have made today here and in the FAQ may help: change your Goblinworks password to all alpha-numeric, try the link, and then change again to whatever you like if the link works. That was the fix that did it for me when I was in just the situation you all describe, after I'd stumped them with everything we tried before that.

Yup Bealze. That's exactly where I am. At least it's saying "account is already linked" now on paizo.com when I navigated to the transfer tool by a different method. However it still shows as not a goblin squad member under goblinworks.com. My passwords are the same on both sites and are plain alphanumeric with no funky characters on either site. So I suspect something is borked.

I got the email , followed the instructions, it did NOT work. So it was one of two things I did that fixed it. The first thing is ,if you make an account for goblinworks from paizo with the link tool, the account has not been activated yet. You need to put in an email from goblinworks site and verify it ,to activate the account. The second thing I did was to change the password to just letters , not numbers and letters , then it linked the accounts.
No way to see all the stuff I get but it says I am signed up for EE, I would like to see what I bought like you could at Paizo.

I think it's pretty evident that they didn't test this process out before sending everyone the email.
Actually, the process was up and running for about two weeks before they sent the e-mail.

You can still see your stuff on the Paizo pledge manager. They aren't putting anything except your enrollment status on the goblinworks.com site yet. More immediate priorities than replicating already extant information.

So after processing about 100 emails via customer.support@paizo.com today, I have a few observations:
1: A lot of people are trying to do the transfer from inside a 1st Kickstarter (Tech Demo) pledge in the Pledge Manager.
If you do this YOU WILL LOCK YOUR ACCOUNT. We are not getting the 2nd Kickstarter data from Paizo when users do this, and nothing transfers from the 1st Kickstarter either. So all that happens is you end up with an active, empty, goblinworks.com account. Which will need to be fixed by hand at some point in the future when we decide on a proper process to do that.
So in the meanwhile - don't do that.
You likely did this if you get an error message that says that your account already exists when you attempt a 2nd transfer from the 2nd Kickstarter.
When you email us about this question, here is what will happen.
I will ask you: "Did you attempt to transfer your account information from inside a first Kickstarter pledge in the Pledge Manager?"
and if you say yes, I will respond:
"Unfortunately, because you transferred the account while using the pledge from the first Kickstarter, your account information from the 2nd Kickstarter will not transfer correctly.
We are aware of this problem and are working on a solution. When we have a procedure ready we'll notify all first Kickstarter backers via a Kickstarter Update to that project."
2: You can't use anything but alphanumeric characters in the username for goblinworks. So if you put an email address in the username field, the transfer will fail with an error message. You won't be able to log in with a username that is an email, and your account will not be transferred.
Go back into the Pledge Manager, and re-do the transfer, this time with a username that is just alphanumeric characters. You'll get a success message when the transfer works.
3: I am concerned that there may be another problem that is related to some of the Pledge Manager code and I'm trying to track it down now.
Some users are reporting that they get an error that says that the transfer cannot be completed at this time. This is an error being generated on paizo.com, not by goblinworks.com. Those users are then reporting that they are getting the "account already created" error.
However, some users have gotten this error, then been able to get the transfer to work at a later time.
At this time, our best recommendation is just to wait and try the transfer process again later. Some users are reporting that they had success when attempting the transfer from a different computer (which implies there may be a caching problem) but we cannot verify that the issues are causative and not just correlated.

Everyone who has a Guild package (or a Buddy) package will need to distribute those invites on paizo.com, so the Guild and Buddy invites get the PDFs and such.
They need to also distribute invites from goblinworks.com so those Guild and Buddy invites get Early Enrollment access and can vote in the Land Rush.
Do that now if you can.

What happens to the physical rewards associated with a buddy pledge?
Do they goto the original person or to the buddy?
If its the buddy how can that be changed back to the original person?

I'm glad I'm not the only one having issues trying to link my paizo backed account to the goblinworks account.

Ryan,
Yesterday I got the error message that the transfer did not work, but there must be some partial information that is still transferred. Where GW didn’t recognize me as EE, I was able to sign in with my user name and password, and didn’t need to create a new account.
I did the transfer again today at work and it told me it was successful, although it did tell me my account was already transferred. Hopefully that is just the error message Paizo is spitting out (like you mentioned).
Unfortunately, I am not able to test it yet as GW is blocked here at work.

I logged in again today at goblinworks and nothing shows up for me being able to send a link to my buddy. In fact it doesn't list anything that i am even a backer.
not sure if i should try to send the information again using a different user name and password or leave it alone.
If you can go through the link tool again then you should. You should use the same username and password. There seems to be an issue where Paizo sends us the message to set up a linked account and then doesn't send us any data about what the account has. This can be fixed by doing the link tool again but some users are reporting being unable to do so. We are looking into better solutions for those users.

Hi, I tried it again (thanks, Taylor!) and now my goblinworks.com account says
Enrollment
Thank you! You're signed up for Early Enrollment.
Which sounds good! Does that also mean the info for the other products (mainly the print addons, as I got the impression there is a time limit on that) got transfered alright?

Without your exact username(or email) I cannot check to confirm but we've yet to ever see a case where ONLY your enrollment level comes through, it's all or nothing. We may only display enrollment level currently but rest assured the rest of your items have been transferred.

We are not going to be handling the physical products. That is all going to remain with Paizo. So you should verify with the Pledge Manager to make sure that the physical rewards you're expecting (and Add-Ons) are correct. If you have problems with the physical stuff, please email customer.service@paizo.com.

Same process just worked for me too! Whatever Goblinworks did last night ended up fixing my problem. Goblinworks.com now shows me as signed up for Early Enrollement! Thanks for the hard work guys!
