Detect Magic Knowledge (arcana) DC for spell-like abilities

Is Knowledge (arcana) DC for discerning school of magical aura for spell-like ability calculated as if its a spell or a non-spell effect?

Example: Lamia Matriarch uses her charm monster on someone. Would the DC to detect such enchantment be 19 (15 + level if charm monster as wizard spell) or 21 (15 + half her caster level of 12).

Spell-likes are still spells. The only real difference is in how they are cast. But after they've been cast they are identical in every way. Same bullet, different gun.
So yes, it'd be the DC of a spell.

Oh crap, I misread the question again. You wanted the DC for detecting the effect, not saving against it. I'm a dope.

Treat it as a spell. In general, spell-like abilities function as spells in all ways that don't have a specific exception in the rules.
