How confident are you about the overseas (Netherlands) shipping costs? The Mage 20th Anniversary kickstarter had a lot of text about that, you only have a small note. Is that good or bad?
Not confident at all, actually. What did Onyx charge?

Apparently there were "problems" with the shipping of Vampire; I know I ended up paying a significant amount extra for that. For Mage they've added I think $40 of shipping costs (although that book is going to be HEAVY), and they still can't guarantee that you won't be hit with a sales tax by the country you're importing into.

In for $25! Unfortunately I'm not rich enough to submit material, but if ever there's a The Way of the Witch add-on I will take that! ;)

Send me an email. :)

@Kwantum
I know tressym, and I also know 4WFG's Phantasia Zoologica with its winged cats familiars. I'm only curious to see Tim's take on the "alicat" familiar, if one.^^

@Tim
You don't know how much I'm happy to have made you happy.^^ I even translated the CWWH for my Italian friends at the time (ten years ago or so).

@Christina
Coming!!!!

Thank you much!

Awesome! Thanks for all the pledges. I am going over the chapter on spells now and I so excited to get this to everyone.

Ok, so we are over 1/3 funded for Strange Brew: The Ultimate Witch and Warlock.

With a new Warlock Base Class, alternate Witch class, archetypes for both, spells, feats, hexes, patrons and pacts, familiars, covens and more - this is a truly fantastic expansion for eldritch and occult options in your game. Hopefully Christina and Tim will have some more exciting news over the next few days and throughout the Kickstarter.

Let people you game with know, spread the word via any means of communication (interpretive dance, semaphore, morse code, smoke signals, numbers stations) that this Kickstarter is live!!!

Oh, and backers at the $10 pledge tier and above get a copy of the upcoming Talented Witch by Paizo's very own (and, obviously, Rogue Genius Gamer) Owen K. C. Stephens.

Well my goal is to get the Warlock into the backer's hands as soon as we can.

I'm in.. although Mythic Mania and What's O.L.D is N.E.W killed my gaming budget - this looks good.

If I am to do what I am to do, I must know something more about the warlock very soon ^___^

Pledged in at the Were Witch Initiate. I'll try to raise it later if I can, but may not be able to at this point.

Also, I'm sorting out details for the interviews with Tim and Morgan at the moment, so I should hopefully have something up on The Grassy Gnoll by next week.

Bardess,

What are you looking for specifically? I am sure I can help.

Thank you. If the Lady Medusa gives me the quest, I'll ask for your precious help, Sir Witchknight. ;)

Looks like I might want to take an early gander at the warlock as well ... :)

Are there going to be any feats or archetypes for other classes that allow a character to be a different sort of witch, maybe an amateur witch? Basically a character that has some witchiness but not the actual class?

That's a yes from me. Christos and I have a bunch of archetypes for Base and Core classes that provide Witch abilities. Whether they will appear in the War Witches and Hexmavens Stretch Goal or in the main book is still undecided, depending on flavor and space limitations in the main book. Perhaps some in each.

Now 50% and 27 days!

There could be some more maybe... ^^

Well. it's showing just $12 shy of that, but still, a good leap!!! Let's get this thing happening!!!

I'm going to go and pledge myself… Somehow in all the excitement I forgot to do that...

I noticed that the High Court Witch makes reference to a "BONUS Book -- Way of the Witch for Pathfinder". I am assuming that this is a Pathfinder update for the original Way of the Witch. If that is so, why is it not offered to other levels? Can someone get it otherwise?

Bit of a delay on the interviews, but Tim has the questions now and I should hopefully be chatting with Morgan tonight (finally someone I share a time zone with :P)

Sounds good TG!

Sorry for the slow response on this--ended up with a stomach bug this weekend. But, yes, this is a PF revision of a book that Megan Robertson (ace reviewer!), Janet Pack, and well-known fiction author, Jean Rabe, and I did way back in the early days of d20. Jason Peck did work on the book, as well. We want to bring this baby back into the gaming fold. The levels above where it is listed would receive it, too.

I'm thinking of putting it as an add-on option for people to purchase. This will come after the Strange Brew book, btw.

Like I said, put it and I'll revise my pledge. ^^

Thank you, my most revered lady. I'll send you multiclass stuff and spells and hexes and feats in exchange. ^^

Tim Brannan will be posting about the warlock on Tuesday the 20th on the KS. Also, I'm checking in on Hero Lab files, as I know these are important to a lot of us--including myself!

Something was sent ^^ More soon, I hope
You could also create a pledge level for those who want WotW only (other than the add-on...)
There have been few pledges in the last days... maybe some update could help?

Regular (read:Frequent) updates seems to really help move things along, from what I've seen of KS. That, and hammering the boards on a daily basis :)

Working on a Warlock update now. Hope to get that out very soon.

Interview with Tim Brannan is up on The Grassy Gnoll! Spread the word far and wide!

The Grassy Gnoll - Interview with Timothy S. Brannan, Lead Designer for Strange Brew

My interview with Morgan will follow in a couple of days, just need to get it formatted and tidied up a bit.

EDIT: And if anyone wants to spread the word via Twitter, go nuts! Feel free to retweet Interview announcement on twitter

Yup, can't stress that enough. Communication and constant promotion have been one of the big make or break elements of a lot of Kickstarter projects from what I can see (for the funding stage at least, and the communication definitely needs to continue after funding is done... promotion too probably, you want there to be an audience after the book is published after all :P)

60% funded and 22 days left.

This is looking great!

I posted Tim's Warlock info on the KS. Please discuss.

Already done.
This Warlock could just be what I always wished for. Please guys, I want to see this book printed, so pledge!

Notified my Friday group of the Kickstarter.

The Warlock's sounding interesting. I'll have a proper read when I'm home from work this evening, right now it's off to the coal mines (figuratively speaking, I don't actually work in a coal mine...)

Sorry, I'm forced to post in any thread that mentions occult things. It's part of my spirit's influence. ;-P
