Ki Throw, Greater Trip and Improved Whip Mastery

Ok, now that anyone who knows what those feats do has a headache, I'd like to know when, or to be more specific, where are the AoOs granted for Greater Trip when I throw an enemy from say 15' in front of me to 10 feet behind me.

And yes, RAW I can do that.

If I have an Ally next to the enemy when I trip him can they take an AoO against him?

If I have an Ally next to where the enemy lands can they take an AoO against him?

I assume only one of the above can be true.

Can I take an AoO against him? (I assume no if the first question is a yes and yes if the second question is yes.)

Now, if he only provokes in the square he started in, which makes sense with AoO temporal physics, can I use my AoO to Disarm him and his weapon stays there while he flies a total of 25 feet away from it? (Assuming he was 10 feet away when I did it instead of 15 due to the threat range of the whip.)

On a last note, yes I know the movement caused by Ki Throw does not cause them to provoke, it is Greater Trip that is causing them to Provoke.

RAW you actually can't. Ki throw specifies, "On a successful unarmed trip attack." So no using a whip to get that 15 foot range. Which kinda ruins the premise of most of the rest.

If you trip with Greater Trip & an ally is adjacent to the enemy, then of course the ally gets the AoO.

Wherever the guy lands he does not provoke, since forced movement doesn't provoke. The victim was thrown there after being tripped. EDIT: On a quick reread the victim gets thrown then knocked prone. Only at the end destination would it provoke from Greater Trip.

If you had a whip & tripped a guy 15 feet away you could not get an AoO against him since Improved Whip Mastery only lets you threaten at 10 feet, as you stated. If you were 10 feet away yes your AoO could try disarming in the manner described.

Somehow I missed Unarmed in the description, thanks.

Dual wield a whip and a fist. Make an unarmed trip and RAW throw him anywhere within 15'?

Actually, he could only throw the guy anywhere within 10' since he only threatens 10'.

Ki Throw:

Benefit: On a successful unarmed trip attack against a target your size or smaller, you may throw the target prone in any square you threaten rather than its own square. This movement does not provoke attacks of opportunity, and you cannot throw the creature into a space occupied by other creatures. (Emphasis mine)

** spoiler omitted **

I love using this as a rescue move.

As to the original question, forgetting the whip, I would say the trip happens where the target is during the D20 roll for the attack. The fact that he ends up somewhere else does not matter.
