Hi Hobbs! I wasn't gone, and I'm not back. I don't think the moderation policies at these boards are well-thought out or effective, and so I don't choose to generate content here. I'm hoping we get new boards soon, so that I can contribute my little 2 cents in a useful way :)

I agree, even though truly offensive posts have been deleted, very heated threads have been locked, and spam has been removed.... There are still ideas that haven't been thoroughly censored, to my liking.

Gotta ask: can you flesh out your issues a bit, without running afoul of whatever it is you object to? I've only ever noticed posts deleted that I agreed needed to be, with the occasional exception of an innocent post in the middle of several objectionable ones also getting whacked, but those have sometimes returned upon the poster requesting.

I recall few threads disappearing that weren't the outright spam we've seen a few times recently. I'm trying to think of what other parts of the board rules I'm not considering, and how you think they'd be different at GW boards.

I can think of a few posters who genuinely do. In particular one who has done this consistently and then not participated once that has been done achieved.

How about a sub-forum or 2 around here? The chartered company threads are really cluttering things up. A company/guild recruitment subforum would be very welcome.
