deflect arrows vs alchemist bomb

So I am wonder how does the feats deflect arrows and snatch arrowd work against the alchemists bomb ability?

Man, that is an awesome question!

Gut reaction from me says Deflect Arrows works but the bomb has to go somewhere and so you work that out ala the missed splash weapon table.

Snatch Arrows works too but since you catch it there is no miss table roll. Instead it just doesn't work.
I would not let you throw it back with any success - most Alchemist class features are built to work for the Alchemist only. I'd take my cue from that.

but that is total instinct on my part. There may very well be rules that provide a different answer.

Perhaps striking the bomb in an attempt to deflect it would set it off.

RAW says no damage, not even splash, for the deflector. Since it is not a miss everyone adjacent to the deflector gets splash, and there is no deviation.

Snatch Arrows should work as normal as bombs are considered weapons. Throwing a class feature back at someone seems inherently wrong, but fits RAW.
