I've only seen the first episode, but I feel like if you've seen any of the previous 8 seasons, then you've already seen season 9.

I watched the first 4 and a half seasons. When it turned out that

season 5 spoiler:

The f*%ing president of the united states was behind the convoluted plot going on up to that point

I just gave up on the show. I loved the first 3 seasons, though, and think each of them was better than the former. Seasons 4+ though are just bad.
