To Frencois on Paizo: it should be noted that Vic let it slip that all of the base characters and many of those that are coming soon in the Class Decks can be found in the Pathfinder Pawns: NPC Codex Box.
So while they aren't be actual pre-painted plastic/metal figures, they are pre-colored standups.
Oh... and on that note... relevant to the thread...
Vic said that most of the characters in the class decks can be found in the NPC Codex Box :P
The NPC Codex Box includes pawns for all of the characters from Rise of the Runelords and most of the characters from the Class Decks.

Vic, what about a small (like 1 page or 2 page) pawns set, shrink wrap it up like the flip maps or the GM screen and sell it for like 20 bucks? I think you guys do reprints of some of the common monsters, seems it wouldn't be too hard to reuse the existing pawn material and just add in the new ones?
Who knows, might launch some of who are on the fence for a pawns subscription to get one started too :)
Alternately, maybe work with Reaper to do a bones set for all of the iconics plus the new iconics (advanced class guide) and whatever is in the S&S game? I would prefer not to paint a set, but minis collected into one box would appeal to some of us I imagine.

Unfortunately, many of the Class Deck characters are unlikely to get prepainted plastic minis in the WizKids line anytime soon, as the Pathfinder Battles line by necessity has different requirements for how characters get chosen for adaptation than the card game does.
I thought so.
Was worth trying though :-)
Too bad because we all love the iconics and somehow I thought it made sense that the same iconics would end up covered by both the PACG and PF Battle line at some point...

Now that the images of the class deck boxes have been put up, we can finally know who the other characters in these decks are going to be (besides the rather unexciting reappearance of the iconics). Besides the iconics, it looks like we'll have:
BARDS
Siwar Kurash, Meliski Traundor, and Esaye Polbele. Meliski will almost certainly give us a bard that can use melee weapons. I'm still a little bummed that the presence of yet another Lem is booting Palos Kendrosi from the lineup.

CLERICS
It looks like one of the new ones is Heggal (aka Eggal) Torkelson, indicating a character that might be designed to interact with a potential Blessing of Cayden Cailean. I have no idea who the others are, though - anyone have any clues?

FIGHTERS
Flenta Casalina (potential bonus to use items with magic trait?), Vika Beliskar (ya! was hoping for this one), and Totelizi Legbreaker appear to be in the mix. Bummer no dwarf, but I guess we can't have it all.

RANGERS
Arabundi (mage hunter) and Wrathack are in...I guess the blonde one is the female dwarf that's been hinted at? Anyone had any success at tracking down (heh) which book that character is from, and who she is...and what her powers might be? Arabundi looks like he might have a decent amount of elemental resistances or immunities, which could be situationally cool.

ROGUES
Olenjack we knew about, and now we have Wu Shen (super-assassin - wonder how that'll work?) and Lesath the Desert Sting. Will be interesting to see how the powers of these three shape up. No halfling rogue, I guess; buzzkill.

SORCERERS
Qualzor, Valendron Oparal, and Amaryllis Hollendoc are the other sorcerers. Valendron will almost certainly have extra power with electrical attacks and / or possibly some sort of wind / wave / weather thing, and I'm not sure about how the other two might pan out.

WIZARDS
Radillo (female half-elf enchanter) is in, and Doug Maynard says on the product page that the other two are the Mage Spy and Grand Necromancer. The gnome wizard in the deck is great...if we can't get a dwarven fighter or a halfling rogue, at least we have one traditional character coming in this crop of class decks. Mage spy looks like he might be a character that prefers stealth, or some other method of sneaking...maybe a wizard with the Stealth skill? Wonder if the necromancer is going to be more of a "vampiric" guy who can heal by damaging enemies, or if he'll have some sort of way of raising undead minions. Are we going to see undead ally cards in the wizard deck, or will this guy have a way of turning a living ally into an "undead" one, and what does that mean?

Still really excited to see what the details of these characters will be. Even more exciting is the fact that it looks like there might be a way to run an "evil" party here, what with Wu Shen, the necromancer, possibly an evil cleric, and some other unsavory characters. So cool, it's going to be hard to wait!
