Heidmarch Manor's defenses?

Shattered Star

Are Heidmarch Manor's defenses detailed anywhere?

I haven't seen anything in regards to this.

Well then, guess I should come up with something. My Shattered Star group has some evil cultists coming to dinner, they just don't know it yet.

Besides 800 lbs. of gorilla butler? ;)

Shoring up defenses is actually going to be a thing for our campaign. It's definitely going to be one way to use all those recruitable NPCs. It can also serve to show the increasing prestige of the PCs and the the local Lodge itself.

If you have the magnimar city book an evil pathfinder wizard lives at the lodge

I was thinking about giving Mandalli some levels in ranger. Maybe go two-handed weapon style.

I believe Goodwill is their strongest defense.

And cookies.

a number of PFS scenarios detail these defenses. Spoiler for season 4 PFS scenarios

Spoiler:
in Rise of the goblin guild (4-1 I think) a goblin is able to sneak into the compound and steal a bunch of stuff, so in the golemworks incident Hiedmarch orders a number of golems (stated out in the scenario) to guard the parameter of the compound unfortunately the PCS end up destroying these, but I'm sure based on the reason, the golemworks would give either more advanced golems or a larger number of the ones from the scenario as free replacements
so depending on what time you want to have the AP happen would depend on the defenses

That and all the chamber pots the Pathfinders fill after eating all the tasty treats.

Is this a vague reference to something or just a saying? I am prepping to run Heidmarch Manor and the disparity of information between various sources and Seeker of Secrets is maddening.

The best advice I have there is to pretty much ignore Seeker of Secrets, alas. There was a fair amount of information in that book regarding Heidmarch Manor that, for whatever reason, missed the boat entirely and slipped through development and editing. The information in Shattered Star, Magnimar, and the PFS scenarios is the go-to source.

Thanks for the kind response, James.
