So about tiefling and aasimar PCs being required to use the incorrect age numbers....

If the reason planetouched PCs have to use the incorrect starting ages from the ARG is because it hasn't been fixed in errata, couldn't the Additional Resources section point tiefling and aasimar players towards the Blood of Angels/Blood of Fiends books instead, which IIRC refer to the correct maturity rates?

Just wondering, as the age confusion has even started leaking outside PFS.

Meh. No mechanical effects, so no biggie.

Silver Crusade

From a roleplaying perspective, extremely irritating. :(

It may have no mechanical effect, but as far as background and personality, the ARG numbers have a huge impact. Radovan from the novels would be a very different character if he had lived for 70 or so years already. They also force things to get a bit convoluted, explaining just how these characters made it to adulthood.

I dare you to find a GM who'd even bother to ask.

Is this a thing in some places? James Jacobs has unequivocally stated that this is an error and will be fixed in the next printing, and he is the authority when it comes to Golarion lore, so that's good enough for me.

I find it a little irritating too, and I've mentioned the error when I've seen players that are misinformed, but I've never made a big deal out of it. I've never had a GM (or other player) tell me off for having a tiefling PC in his 20s while pointing vigorously at the table in the ARG either.

If you had a planetouched PC who played

Spoiler:
Thornkeep: Sanctum of a Lost Age and royally botched one of the encounters, it could have a mechanical effect...

Aww, I kinda liked my aasimar being a ripped muscular lass in her 80s.

Wow, sorry. I didn't even mention which encounter or what "royally botching" it meant. I thought I was ok.

My point exactly.
