Spells Only Druids Get

Advice

Does anyone know where I can find or search for spells unique to the druid spell list? My search fu must be weak because I find a list like that anywhere.

Sczarni

Try looking on d20pfsrd.com. Their filter isn't too shabby.

The best thing I could find on there was the advanced spell search, but I couldn't figure out how to make it search for "druid only" spells.

Scarab Sages

The problem is most Druid spells show up elsewhere either on domain spells, oracle mystery bonus spells, or Sorcerer Bloodline spells. I cant think of anything off the top of my head that is druid only.

Well, there is awaken.

Also keep in mind Rangers share a lot of the early ones that could be druid only. I think their are a few higher level ones in the summon line.

Is there a reason why this is an issue? Just curious.

The Summons Nature Ally spells are primarily druid, especially the 5th levels spells and up. There's the Call Lightning family, Changestaff, and Awaken. Most of the uppper level ones are druid only as well.

Technically there is no such thing as "class only" spells except for things called out like that in the description like Mnemonic Enhancer or Oracle's Burden is. A samsaran with the mythic past life trait wreaks havoc on which spells go on which list.

SNA is on the ranger list, but level 5 and above is druid only. Several cleric domains get call lightning, and thundercaller bards duplicate it with a performance. Wood oracles get Changestaff.

Awaken is actually Druid only afaik.

No issue in particular. Just wanted to see a list of druid only spells.

I'm coming up with character ideas and thought it would be fun to come up with a story based on a spell (or spells) only druids can cast. Like she's a bounty hunter who specializes in invisible fugitives and uses faerie fire to find them.

I don't care so much if they show up as domain spells, oracle mystery bonus spells, or bloodline spells. I'm just looking for spells that only appear on the druid spell list.

Faerie fire doesn't help you in finding invisible foes, as you have to see your targets to target them. You're thinking more in the area of glitterdust, which is bard and wizard, or see invisibility which isn't on the Druid list.

It was just an example, and a poor one at that. I don't want to derail this thread to discuss how different spells work.

That said, it's my understanding that, because the spell area is "creatures and objects within a 5-ft.-radius burst", I can cast faerie fire on a square and if the invisible creature is within the blast radius it will be effected. It's a shot in the dark, sure, but it can be used in this way.

Another druid only spell is quench (druid 3rd).

I could see a build with a heavy emphasis on using quench because of this line:
Each creature with the fire subtype within the area of a quench spell takes 1d6 points of damage per caster level (maximum 10d6, no save allowed).
And the area is a 20' cube per caster level.

I like playing druids, but this isn't a spell I usually keep on hand.
Last game, however, I had it ready because I expected my party to set the building on fire.
Instead we had a fight with a whole bunch of fire subtypes.
Hardest part was waiting till all of them were in the room.

Now I want to go hunting red dragons.

I guess you could use the advanced spell search to find all druid spells and note them. Then use advanced spell search to find all spells except for the druid spells. Remove all that appear on both lists from the druid list and you have what you are looking for.
I'm too lazy right now to do it, but is should work.

Edit:
In fact I was curious enough to try it for first level and here is what I found:
Bristle
Faery fire
Goodberry
Hibernate
Produce Flame
Shillelagh

But sady this doesn't correctly apply stuff like oracle mysteries because aat least the last is on one of the mystery bonus spell lists.

Flame blade maybe?

Flame Blade and Gozreh's Trident are indeed Druid Only spells. And they satisfy one's inner desire for a light saber of some sort.

Gozreh's Trident is a Cleric spell as well.

I'm not sure how complete this is, but the Spell database on the d20pfsrd. They have 1710 spells.

Scroll right and click on druid will sort the spells by Druid class and level, scroll through the list and pick out the Druid only spells. I don't think that list includes Domains though.

If you download it in Excel, you can apply the 0-9 filter to the Druid column and the NULL filter to all other classes. When I did this (to a version admittedly a few months out of date), I got this result:
