INORITE?!
I pitched in last year for their original Kickstarter campaign. It was one of the best run Kickstarters I've ever been a part of, and all my swag arrived on time. I've already pledged at the $205 level.
My ONE nitpicky problem with the tiles is this: the walls of wall tiles take up half a square, so really it's only 5 1/2 feet of floor, and thus only 2 miniatures can fit on it instead of 4. Makes dungeons a bit janky, but I don't know what other possible solution there is.

I am so excited to see dwarvenite caverns. I love how carefree I can be with the pieces from the first kickstartef. It's nice to be able to haul the pieces around in a duffle bag and not worry about them. (I love bones over metal minis for the same reason, even if cost savings were not a factor!)
I'm going to do one alternate paint scheme for sure. Not sure if I want to do blue and purple caverns or a lush green one or an ice one. Blue is my top choice for my I painted sets so far. Could double as underdark or underwater.

I was in at around 500 at the beginning but had to drop out of it entirely last night - right now the price per set and value just isn't cutting it for me. I might jump back in near the end but for me it isn't looking good.
First KS I actually have backed out of.
Plus, they should never run a KS during tax season.

I'll be glad when it is over. I got in on the first one, but wasn't interested in this one. Hasn't stopped them from sending out an email everyday saying, "Hey have you heard about this?" Yes, stop spamming my email. I appreciate the message when it started, to see if I was interested. I don't need to get a message every damn day, if I haven't gotten by now, I am not going to. And no I don't want to block them, since I might want to know about a third one sometime.

They've sent out three emails in 3 weeks. Exaggeration is unnecessary.
As for the value, it is subjective. I think it is a great value and just so many great pieces. I am going to struggle greatly with which addons to choose.
If you are talking about just the updates from the 1st kickstarter, then you don't know about all the direct emails from Dwarven Forge. I got one just yesterday.

As a non-American I'd love to back it, but it's just not financially viable. Pity since in the first KS they delivered on time and the pieces are brilliant. I hope they manage to break the total of last time - and remembe everyone, last KS went down for the last hour as backers broke the system. Thus best to back now.

Down to about 48 hours at this point. Tons of stretch goals and freebies. Beautiful stuff. If you're not part of this yet, this is absolutely the cheapest way to get start getting into amazing 3D terrain. Most of it is caves, caves and water, and caves and lava, but there are some wide (full 10') and narrow (5') dungeon passages in there too.

This is how I handle that: when a creature needs to stand in one of those 2.5 feet sections next to the wall, I remove the piece with the wall and replace it with a 10x10 floor tile.
