So here's the thing. Sometimes there actually is a slippery slope. Not all slippery slope arguments are fallacious; the slippery slope FALLACY is when the arguer refuses to recognize a further logical stopping point.
That said, I'd like to officially come out against human-animal marriages.
Also, the dog is also female so it's also gay marriage.

The slippery slope referenced is that of Rick Santorum et al. who have said that if the US allows gay marriage, next people will be marrying animals.
Which is an incredibly stupid position. This was a tongue in cheek reference to Rick sitting in his parlor exclaiming "I TOLD YOU SO!!!".

It isn't really an example of a slippery slope, especially since she's not the first nutty person to "marry" a pet or a car or a wall or a bridge.
True. Richard Gere might get mad if this lady tries to claim to be the first.
Although...I don't think he ever actually married that gerbil...

Hey, LGBT folks didn't object when a Neanderthal like Santorum married a female Sapiens human, so Ricky should keep his mouth shut.
{ponders how much the National Enquirer would pay for a tell-all "Santorum and Goblin Did It in the Street" exposé}
