Hi :)
I've always been able to use "Standard Postal Delivery" for my previous orders through this site, but when I checked the shipping details for a new potential order today (with similar items; 3 AP issues and 4 Campaign Setting products, one of which being a map folio), only the "USPS Priority" option was available, even after I tried to change shipping details.
Since that option is far more expensive, and I don't have any particular need for early delivery, I didn't make the order. For the future, I wonder why that particular potential order didn't have an option for "Standard"?

Okay, thank you for explaining :)
I'm sure I've gone above 4lb on orders in the past, though, and in those cases I've still gotten standard postage. For instance, my previous order was 12 softcover books (2 APs, 9 campaign setting, 1 module), which was split into two packages of 6 and got standard postage.

Our system examines many different ways to ship your order, and then offers you the cheapest. In this case it sounds like splitting your order into multiple packages in order to get standard shipping on each of them would have created enough packages that the total shipping cost would still be more than the single International Priority package.

That's possible, but in that case it doesn't seem to work properly. I just tested adding orders separately just to see what the shipping costs would be, and the total shipping cost for doing the packages separately turned out to be almost half of the USPS Priority option I get when adding all together as a single order.
First, I added 5 items (3 APs, 2 campaign setting), which got standard postage of just over $20.
Then I added 1 more campaign setting, which bumped shipping to over $50.
But for that 1 campaign setting alone, the shipping would cost only $7.
So the total cost for the whole order, if the system splits packages as mentioned above, should be about $27, while instead it's almost twice that.
[Edit: Note that this has only been a problem with the new checkout system; the old system never had this issue]
