Question about the EE package, from one of my guildmates who didn't participate in the Kickstarter (shame on him :-)): what do you really get for $100 ? Access to the game sure, but how many months afterwards ? Do you get anything else ?
I'm can't answer him because I have access through the Kickstarter Crowdforger Pioneer level, which gave us access to a whole bunch of pdfs and 3 months of game time. The description on the GW store doesn't say anything more than that it gives access to the game.
The only other info I found was a statement from Ryan saying that game time would cost $15/month during EE.
Any answer to my buddy's concerns ?

@Moonbird - when you add an item to your cart in the Goblinworks store, it now shows everything that is included with that purchase. For Early Enrollment, that list is:
* Early Enrollment Access (Month 2, eta August 2014)
* Game Client Download
* New Player Pack (Consumables)
* Alliance Pack (Consumables)
* 3 Months of Game Time
* Goblin Squad Membership

@All - we have found a problem related to case sensitivity in some of our modules. We're going to fix that today but it may have affected some users. If you changed case for a username between the Paizo site and the Goblinworks site you may get the error about the account being in use on the Goblinworks side.
After we fix this problem we may need to ask some affected users to re-complete the Account Transfer process. If you are getting this error, this may be the cause. We will update the community when the fix is deployed.

I am managing two Buddy level pledges for a group of 4 friends. I have gotten the primary pledger accounts linked for both pledges. It was easy and straightforward to do through the Paizo accounts.
I have yet to do anything with the two buddy portions. I know you have reported there were problems and you are working on them. I would just like to know if there is anything you would like me to be trying to do in order to test the system. Their screen is so different from when I linked the two primaries I am just not sure how to attempt to link them.
I am absolutely fine with waiting until you announce it to be fixed, I just want to make sure there isn't something I can be doing to help test it.

I am also having the same issue with my buddies.

My problem as follows:
1. Created Goblinworks account. Fine.
2. Click Pledge Link Tool. Redirects to Paizo.com account
3. Says....
You have no Kickstarter pledges.
If you used a different email address on Kickstarter you need a Claim Code. Please contact customer.service@paizo.com to request one.
If you've received a claim code from Paizo, please enter it here:
Claim Code4. However, have no Kickstarter pledges. What I have when I hit "Order History" is
Order History
You have 1 order in your order history.Order # Time Placed Items Total
xxx Mar 5, 2014 Goblin Squad Alpha $1,000.005. Conclusions is that I cannot seem to link a purchased Alpha pack from a couple of months ago to the Goblinworks.com account
Many thanks

Any update to this? Is there anything that folks in this situation should do? Merely trying to see this resolved pre alpha starting. Many thanks

@Farfryd - we don't have a good system to get Alpha pledges from the 1st Kickstarter through the Pledge Manager and into our system. We are probably going to do it manually later this week or early next. As soon as we figure out the best process we will let you know what, if anything you will need to do. Thanks for your patience!

A suggestion for the Website: when you get to the Landrush-page there is very little explanation on what the landrush actually is and how it will play out. That information is in Lee's blog though. That blog is currently at the top of the Homepage but may fall down at some point.
So I think put another link in the current landrush explanation (which includes the link to Finding a Guild and Found your own) that directs to that Landrush blog. That would be easier then having to condense and rewrite Lee's blog. Landrushers might be interested in the Resources part of that blog anyway, so a link to the blog is probably best.
This for the hundreds of people that will start flooding here soon, and are not yet familiar with where to get the best info.

I participated in both the first and second Kickstarters (at the $100 level for both), and followed the instructions to link to a goblinworks.com account using the second kickstarter pledge. The account seems to have created fine and I can log in on goblinworks.com, but I don't see anything under My Account to indicate my enrollment status for any of the kickstarter perks.

I would recommend retrying the link tool as although Paizo did create an account for you, they did not send us any information as to what your account should have. When you retry the tool use the same username and password as you used previously. If you are unable to re-use the tool on Paizo please contact our customer support at customer.support@goblinworks.com

I made a thread for suggestions like this, so they can all be gathered in one place. Would you be willing to add that?

I missed both Kickstartes and only donated to Goblinworks via the Goblinstore. Because of this it does not, as many of you know, allow me to link from Paizo to Goblinworks because I obviously don't have any Kickstarter pledges.
I'm pretty saddened about it because I'd like to be added to my company's roster! I feel so lonesome!

I resubmitted via the tool again, and my account info now shows I have early enrollment, so that appears to have worked:

I am wanting to become a Goblin Squad member and I have tried on both the pazio site and the Goblinworks site and I get 2 different errors.
On the pazio site I goto Pathfinder Online and click on "Become a Goblin Squad Member!" I get redirected to another page and from there there is no body on the page, nothing can actually be done on the page.
On the Goblinworks site I enter the Store, add the "Early enrolment" package and go to complete my order. When trying to add a payment method from my Credit Card I get an "AVS missmatch" error and I am unable to proceed further.
Can anyone assist with this and me being able to become a Goblinsquad member?
note: I am located in Australia, I have also confirmed my billing address with my bank and credit card.
Thanks!

@Audoucet - we will have some kind of name reservation system set up before EE begins, and if for some reason we don't we'll tell everyone that characters named before the reservation system is implemented are going to be subject to being negated by people with a naming-rights precedence. But I'm reasonably sure we'll have a naming system ready in time.

Is the page you reach blank? If so, I've been dealing with that same issue.

The error you seem to get on the Goblinworks website seems exactly the same that I get, see the thread that Lam linked.
Someone from outside the US that gets an "AVS mismatch" error: Adress Verification Service mismatch.
The article that I linked in my thread talks about this error especially for those websites that use Authorize.net for their Credit Card authentication, and Ryan said in that thread that that is exactly the service they are using. So a known problem, that can also be resolved with the correct configuration of Authorize.net.
I hope once the holiday weekend is over, that they will tackle this issue.
I am not familliar with the issue on the paizo website, my card works fine there.
Kobold Catgirl |
Yeah, it's not the same as your issue. Thanks and all, I'm just saying, they're different. I'm in Oregon, and as often as I claim that we're a separate territory, we are technically US. :P
My problem is with the Paizo store. GW's site may or may not work—I wouldn't know. I haven't tried to actually purchase the OE package yet.

Will the Goblinworks website at some point provide the option to attach a Name to your account that is not the same as your username (that you have to fill in to login)?
With the landrush, the memberlists of applying Guilds now consist of hundreds of usernames, which is half of the info someone needs to get into your account. It is probably too late now, and after the landrush the point becomes somewhat moot anway. I take it the new forums will require either a separate registration or you will have to provide a separate Forumname.
Still a bit uncomfortable with the idea of those lists though. I know lots of websites and stores use emails for usernames, and that bothers me too.
