Yield Match Cascade Advancement
Sorry, I skipped the list. Consider GW, e.g. Golden Wonders for a month. Of course there could be silver ones for 1/10 th a month (67 hour ~ 2.8 days) or copper ones for 1/100 (400 minutes).
MMmmmmguurllll does golden wonders, you know what I'm sayin.
And that should be the answer riiiight there. No offense, just the depravity of the human mind. Something other than wonder might work.
I will not TOUCH that. This is to be PG 13.
How about Skill Window Advancement Gobs?

I'm a fan of the term GOBS. Short, easy to use, makes sense, and carries on a little bit of an in joke.

I like Tome/Scroll/Book of Experince/Knowledge myself. Pretty self explanatory.
MrSavarius wrote: I like Tome/Scroll/Book of Experince/Knowledge myself. Pretty self explanatory. Staying with the theme and context of PF, this makes the most sense I think, but I also like the ideas thrown back and forth relating to GW, as Foul Vaghdra said, it isn't an in-game concept so it doesn't need to be something that makes sense in-game. In that case, I love EMP. GG

That way the Yggdrasillian Omnipresent League of Operatives fund for purchasing Skill Window Advancements can be called "YOLO SWAG Money". I truly believe that this is something we can achieve as a community and can be proud doing so!
Pharasma is the goddess of the cycle of life. She's is not the one who would give immortality. For her, immortality is a curse. We stalk in time and pharasma is trying to end it. Kill doesn't work because the souls can't came to her. Maybe because we can't connect with her. The plex-like should reconnect with pharama and temporary weaken the curse. The cycle of life (and experience) would continue.
I propose the name Soul Link Spell (SL) or Remove eternity Curse (REC) or Delay Eternity Curse (DEC) because if this is the pharasma domain. This is something that she would want to stop not cause.

Which is to say, it works for me. Also, those who insist on talking about goblinoid gonads can simply say that's a slang term for those parts as used in the argot of the goblins themselves.
Is writing it in CAPS like that meant to indicate an acronym?
It wasn't an acronym in the original:
Vaith wrote: Gobs of Time - GOBS
1) Gobs is short for Goblins. It should fit well with its theme with Goblinworks.
2) Technically as the players, you are buying time to gain xp with your characters.

I wasn't replying to the original, and nothing is set yet anyway.
Ths is primarily a marketing question, and GW will most likely do their own thing when naming a product they're selling.

Just to pop in and throw my 2cp in, I like a lot of the ideas being thrown around but I personally would like something that can be used as both a verb as well as a noun. That is, in my opinion, one of the greatest advantages of how they named the PLEX. Saying that you need to PLEX your account, or that you need to buy a PLEX are both grammatically correct and I really liked that. Using GOBS, as an example, doesn't really have the same ring. I'll see if I can't think of something myself to add but naming isn't really my strong point.

I have been playing EvE for over 9 years and I never once bought a Plex. It is actually more expensive to buy it with real dollars than just paying for a one month sub.
I have two years worth of pre paid time for PFO. After that I'll probably pay in 6 month increments.
What these things are actually called makes no difference to me personally, but I always like calling something which players have created and had come along organically.
I will always refer to them as Goblin Balls.

I have played occasionally, and I always used ISK to buy a PLEX if I needed it, for a few months I mined for hours on end to keep my account when I didn't have the money for a sub. I will probably do the same as you for PFO, and I agree that some of us will probably call them Goblin Balls. It will end up being sort of an inside joke years from now.

They may call it something different, but in our hearts, they will always be Goblin Balls.
And it is only vulgar if you have a sick mind.
Goblin Balls are trinkets that grant us insight into the world. They are about two inches in diameter, and composed of small trinkets and bits of shiny stuff goblins find and bind together. They are then taken by wizards and enchanted.
I guess the official name could be Goblin Baubles, if Goblinworks is gonna be a sissy 'bout it.

Goblin Balls they are now, Goblin Balls they will always be.
No one will convince me otherwise.

Now I'm adapting this from a Tool song title, so pardon my german grammar and use of slang.
Die Eier von Kobolden
I am going to have to second Torkens, I don't when, I don't know what, but some day I hope that Torkens is used for something.
Since Tork is over settlements I can see this as a unit of measurement for bulk resources. "I would like a torken of stone."
It was not until this thread that I ever actually thought Goblin Balls was anything other than a trinket made by goblins, as they are wont to do. Yeah it had a funny double meaning, but seriously, by itself it is not vulgar at all. Especially not if the illustration of Goblin Balls is something other than the goblin equivalent of a money shot!
My suggestion is to legitimize the term by drawing something trinkety, leave it at that.
Aside from that we could have players paying for Scrolls of EXperience, or Scrolls of Enabled XP. I hear those are supposed to sell well.
Aside from that, perhaps... Pathfinder Society Idol or EXperience Infusion.
