Ahem! In the interests of equality and comradeship with my fellow Paizonians, I must inform you that you somehow neglected to delete my reference to the consumption of obnoxious media personnel (although, given the personal discomfort which ensued, I find it difficult to decide which party actually experienced "harm"). Please attend to this issue at your earliest convenience. Thank you.

Well it has been almost a week now and still nothing, so either the story has finally been resolved or he has given up trying to get me to comment.

SnowJade, were you asking what Kinder Surprises are upthread?

Yes, I was. I was (and still am) confused by the phrase as used in that particular context. I have no idea if it's a food, a weapon, or a sarcastic reference to something which would otherwise be unnameable on a semi-public forum.

Kinder surprises are hollow, milk-chocolate eggs that have a plastic container inside with a toy of some sort (usually part of a collectable group) in it. They are a very popular treat for kids throughout Europe and Canada.

Off Topic Discussion as to Why Americans are unfamiliar with them:
They are illegal in the U.S. as the American government considers the plastic container and toys in the small eggs to constitute a choking hazard in small children.

Apparently American parents aren't trusted to watch their children as other countries do. :/

Because of the egg-shape, they are very popular at Easter.

Thanks, Feros! *Headbonk*

Yeah, one of my favorite snacks was banned from the US because it was deemed to be a choking hazard. :/

Thats because most smart people are not having kids in the US and the stupid ones are popping them out at a alarming rate.

Yeah, I noticed that. *sigh*

This is sad. It's frustrating that being a tabletop gamer is a pejorative in our culture. If he ran a fantasy football league no one would care (I think).

This exact thing was mentioned very many times by very many people. It sadly appears to have not been acknowledged at all.

The only fault I personally find with that organization is that whenever they have a wildcat strike, you never see it coming...

I still remember a few years back, some guy was found dead in Sweden somewhere. This got a passing mention in the news. Then, few days later, it was revealed that the victim was playing Vampire: the Masquerade and the media just exploded in a frenzy that lasted for two weeks until it turned out that he wasn't killed by a coven of death-worshipping, blood gorging cultist, but rather over a drug deal gone bad.

The media is pretty blasé when it comes to dead junkies. Unless they happen to own an RPG rulebook.

It's times like these I'm glad we don't live in a sitcom. This would be the cue for him to jump out of a nearby bush and yell "Aha!" like a breakfast cereal mascot.

In seriousness, glad this seems to be petering out. Scaly fingers crossed!

Or Endora would see this as an opportunity to magically polymorph you into something embarrassing again.
