So, I'm thinking an evil band...

Advice

1 person marked this as a favorite.

They're called Malvoso & The Shadowtones. Havent chosen their music style yet, but here's the composition:

Malvoso (human): Master Summoner, focused full-tilt on summoning, the eidolon rarely being in sight. Has perform (sing).

Rebecca (fetchling): Vanilla bard, boosts the master's summons with morale bonuses. Main instrument: guitar.

Priscilla (lashunta): Archivist bard, high int & cha, provdes insight bonuses to the summons. Main instrument: keyboard/keytar

Draconia (kobold): Uses her "diplomatic protection" to boost the toughest summons, protects the band using diplomatic immunity (since they arent technically attacking...). Band drummer.

Anything you guys can think of to boost them even more? I'm curious how powerful I can make these guys.

Oh, oh oh:
A fifth band-mate (who sings in parallel with malvoso):

Toxiconia (vishkania): A court bard (debuff) who spends her time dissing the parties that attack.

Ok, sounds a bit like one-trick pony band except the fifth. Hmm, have you thought about a songstriker or an evocation or illusion wizard for the special effects?

The goal of this thing would be for the summoner to summon, the bards start performing to buff, then they use spells/weapons (maybe) to mess with people.

THe illusion wizard might work well. Let's say he's backstage, ready to use the fog machine (obscuring mist) whenever the band needs to escape.

Scarab Sages

It's a hundred and six miles to Abasalom, we've got a full flying carpet, half a cask of tobacco, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses.

Hit it!
