Richard Pett has been writing the Whispering Homunculus column over at Kobold Press for a long time. Sometimes, though, he outdoes himself, as with this List of 100 Strange Pets.

Chimera pig, double-ended dog, extremely orange snake, ghoul mouse... Which one is your favorite?

And what sort of bizarre pets are there in your Pathfinder campaign?

Awesome!

Richard Pett's lists of cool and bizarre stuff are just fantastic! Pure GM gold!!!!

I always think of the high school group of mine that wanted to raise pet rust monsters. The tricky part was, they wanted to ditch their high-metal-content characters and play all monks, druids, and wizards.

Somehow, they never talked the fighter into it, though. :)

Gnomes! Parties love to have gnomes around. They are pets that are very easily trained!

I love writing YWH, and am delighted it still gets support and is engendering fun at tables, thank you, and thank you Wolfgang for continuing to support my sick and deranged ravings. The most fun bit of this one was working out afterwards what I'd invented and what was real, to give you an example, how can this creature not be fantasy...

Sczarni

Reality can often be stranger than fiction.
