"Let's Play" Videos - Any advice?

Pathfinder Online

I'm interested in any advice anyone wants to share about making "Let's Play" videos for Pathfinder Online. Specifically, I'm interested in learning about the technical options for different recording software, and any advice about presentation style.

Thanks :)

I used to stream games, and OBS (Open Broadcast(er?) system was a great free program to use. Xsplit is good if your willing to pay, and get the subscriber version. I think you pay for a year. I could be wrong, it's been a bit since I've looked into it.

As for assisting with making videos, time is not on my side these days. This is about a much help as I think I can offer. Hope it helps.

Personally I use Dxtory, using the Lagarith Lossless codec. I record the audio with Audacity to correct for background noise. Then I use Adobe Premiere Pro to edit it all and put it together.

Dxtory and Premiere Pro both cost though, so there might be more applicable freeware options.

Any suggestions for a low-latency live stream to go with Teamspeak? I'm not sure exactly how Spoiler Warning does it, but they've demonstrated that there's occasionally too much delay for the other commentators.

Okay but mark my words you're going to wish you were British*.
