GMs please signup to run more Pathfinder at UK Games Expo. This is the best UK convention for getting new players into the hobby.

UK Games Expo is the biggest general gaming event in the UK. It had 3500 unique attendees last year in its first year at the bigger venue (almost 6000 attendee days over the weekend). It has 8 game slots from 10am Friday until 7pm Sunday with Friday games being free to enter.

Expo has probably the best GM rewards package of any convention with free entry and cash allowances for running any games and free accommodation for GMing 5 games.

The draft RPG schedule is up with many PFS and other Pathfinder games already on the list. Numbers are expected to more than double from the current draft schedule.

I am impressed. At the opening of booking we have double the number of tables that were available at the close of booking last year.

After 24 hours almost 40% of the PFS seats are sold and 8 tables are completely sold out.

PFS is over 30% of all RPGs on offer.

With five weeks to go, of the 75 tables of PFS:

28 are sold out
12 have 1 place left
11 have 2 places left
4 have 3 places left
5 have 4 places left
6 have 5 places left
9 have 6 places left

So 300 player seats are booked already; well up on the total for 2013.

Advance sign-up closes in 12 hours, but game tickets can be bought at the event.

There are 77 tables of PFS on the system:

41 are sold out
14 have 1 place left
15 have 2 places left
4 have 3 places left
3 have 4 places left
5 have 5 places left
5 have 6 places left

359 tickets sold; that's 78% of the total available. Even without further game tickets being sold at the event (which is a certainty), 64 of the tables on offer have enough players signed up to be PFS-legal already, compared to 36 total last year. That's a 78% increase!

I just wanted to say thanks very much to all of the players and GM's at Games Expo this weekend. It made things a thoroughly enjoyable experience. I shall post some more detailed feedback when I have a moment.
