Eldritch Heritage(Pit-Touched) Deadly Stroke Fighter

Advice

So this build first came from the idea of combining Eldritch Heritage(Infernal/Pit-Touched) with the Deadly Stroke feat.

Feat Order:
Human Bonus Feat: Skill Focus(Diplomacy)
LV01: Intimidating Prowess / Weapon Focus
LV02: Power Attack
LV03: Eldritch Heritage
LV04: Weapon Specialisation
LV05: Dazzling Display
LV06: Shatter Defenses
LV07: Skill Focus(Intimidate)
LV08: Greater Weapon Focus
LV09: Martial Versatility(Weapon Focus)
LV10: Martial Versatility(Weapon Specialisation) Retrain @ LV16 for Martial Mastery
LV11: Deadly Stroke
LV12: Greater Weapon Specialisation
LV13: Improved Eldritch Heritage
LV14:
LV15:
LV16:
LV17: Greater Eldritch Heritage
LV18:
LV19:
LV20:

Now the problem is that I'm not getting any inspiration for what to do other that this! What kind of Fighter to build, what weapon to use etc. I'm not aiming to build a super optimised build or anything, I just saw two abilities that could work together well and tried making something out of it. So, what do you guys recommend?

Pretty much I chose Human for the bonus feat that I might not even need, Martial Versatility chain just cause I'm a human fighter, and Skill Focus(Intimidate) for when I run out of Corrupting Touch. I thought that maybe with my High CHA from Eldritch Heritage I could even be the Face of the party, so being Human gives me at INT 10 Intimidate/Diplomacy/Perception.

Before I read further, I'd like to point out that it's been argued about before and the general consensus is that you cannot take Wildblooded bloodlines with Eldritch Heritage.

Thanks for the input Alistus! I thought the general consensus was the opposite, but matters not in this situation as the important bit is the Infernal bloodline power and Pit-Touched is just icing on the cake. Good to know for other threads though :)

I'd think the best option for this build is Vital Strike(If you can get your DM to allow it to be combined with Deadly Stroke). Take a greatsword and start swinging!

That's 2(6d6 + 2/H STR + Other) with improved vital strike, not bad at all, especially when you can move before doing it. Bonus points if you can get someone to cast enlarge person on you, making it 2(9d6 + 2/H STR + Other).

Another option of course is the Falchion. Which would only decrease your average damage by 2/dice and give you a 15-20 crit. Then you can add in some critical feats(if you have the room).

Very interesting overall build though, sounds like a lot of fun.

Grand Lodge

Two Handed Fighter archetype is the best for this.

Vital Strike and Overhand Chop do not combine with Deadly Stroke, which is it's own standard action.

Chooky: Is the idea that you'll hold the charge on your Corrupting Touch, then deliver it as an iterative attack, then hit to shatter defenses, then get your Deadly Stroke the next turn? Doesn't seem to be a bad combo, although a level dip in Sorcerer seems an easier route.

Grand Lodge

Overhand Chop does, but Vital Strike does not.

Scarab Sages

Seems like a big investment for a high level trick that has a lot of monsters that are immune to it. That said, it might be worth looking into Viking fighter for this. They get swift/free action demoralizes to help with your action economy.

Thanks for the advice guys! The idea would be to hold charge until I can afford a Conductive weapon to give myself some options on how to apply the Corrupting Touch and use whichever one suits the situation best.

I guess the option is to go either Two-Handed Weapon for the 1.5x bonus to STR and Power Attack, or go Viking for the Fearsome/Berserker ability which would thematically fit very well.

Would you guys recommend getting the Cleave chain or the Critical chain starting at the LV14 zone? As Imbicatus said, a lot of monsters would be immune to the Shaken/Deadly Stroke combo later on and was wondering if the Cleave feat chain would be worth getting at such a late LV?

Again, thanks for the input guys!

Do two handed like Black blood troll said, get rid of pit touched and do orc blood line or abyssal, if Abyssal you don't need Greater Eldritch Heritage, you will want it for orc bloodline so you can do giant form and get another 6 to str, 4 to con and some natural armor.

Ditch dazzling display, shatter defense and deadly stroke most useless feats in the game unless you play the new slayer class coming out. It take 3 rounds for to even use them. 1st round is dazzling display and a 5ft step because it a full round action. Next round move to target attack once, to get shatter defense to work, next round you can finally use Deadly Stroke. to do double damage and a point of con, combat should be over in the next round. you waste two round of full attacking to double damage once. It takes to long to use those feats to do anything. take cornugon smash, Furious Focus and Dreadful Carnage, you will get to debuff with every swing and do lots of damage, if you drop the target, everyone with in 30ft you get to try and debuff.

For your left over feats take persuasive for another +4 to intimate, +5 Ominous weapon for another +5 and maw of the wrym for another +4 and a mini breath weapon if you need it. you should be-able to intimidate everything in the game. For the other feats take deadly aim so you can empower your ranged attacks at fly creatures and for hitting those casters in the back. Then Alistus said use Falchion or Nodachi and pick improved critical up those critical feats chain staggering is a good one. Iron will and lighting reflex to boost your weak saves, ring of evasion go a long way with that.

Cleave is very situational and requires a lot of feats just to even mimic whirlwind attack.

Martial Mastery also allows improved critical feat to work with a weapon group so you take that feat, leaves your weapon options open and flexible.
