adventures like the bb?

Beginner Box

Hi all,
I'm a noob gm and I'm looking for more adventures prewritten like the one that comes in the beginner box. I've read lots of threads but I don't really understand the difference with adventure path, pf society, or the others. I'm not comfortable enough to make my own and I would like to find more stuff written with what to say to the players, the maps prefigured and the creature stats laid out per encounter. What should I be looking for? Thanks!

Are you aware of this page:

http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/products/beginnerbox

Chock full of free downloads for noob BB GMs. The GM kit has an adventure in an old mine, and the Demos give you 4 short ones. Transitions book shows you how to convert adventures and gives you a step by step guide to convert Master of the Fallen Fortress to BB rules (which is free too).

There are also some Sandpoint-based BB adventures in Wayfinder #9, a free fan-zine. ;)

There is also a new BB adventure in Wayfinder #10!

Indeed, and a very good one.

Let me second that. Plus it adds one of my favourite bad guys! Think I'll be running that one.

As for adventures check outBasic Paths by 0One Games.

Many low level PF adventures will also be usable. See some recommendations in this post, on this blog post or check out some of these threads.

BTW for easy reference of the PF Beginner rules check out thewww.pfbeginner.com website.

And make sure you get all the official free Beginner goodies and EdOWar's missing classes Beginner Conversions and this thread with additional material by the user Iker.

Also I recommend reading threads in the Beginner forum like this one or this one which contain some excellent advice. (...and a link to this excellent blog about the introducing kids to RPGS with the PF Beginner Box)

As I understand it, the licence to create material compatible with the Beginners Box is a different one from the OGL being used by most third-party publishers to make material for the PF Core Game. And that licence is granted less often, and limits what parts of the BB can be quoted, if any.

So you may find there are publishers making compatible material, but they have to dance around the subject a little bit.
Just like Paizo declared their game was compatible with 'the third edition of the world's most popular role-playing game', there are publishers who are making material 'for entry-level gamers', or some other euphemism.

Adventure-a-week.com have a series of compatible scenarios in their BASIC series.
