Cor'win Maldrago |
Cor'win claps his head in remembrance.
"Ellismus and Ralia, there are more dragons then the whites and the green which i can recall. I forgot about the silvers which were visible in the diamond city. The silver dragons aid the crusaders in the conflict with the worldwound... i don't know how i had forgotten..."
He shakes his head.
"well this is new... me forgetting something..."
Forlanderion |
An elf of indeterminate age wearing scholarly robes walks with his hands clasped behind his back. He studies the gathered group for a moment, and then starts speaking in a far distant language before gathering himself and shifting to Common.
"Terendelev gave her life in Kenabres, contemporaneously to the unexpected incursion on Nerosyan and the other communities on the border. Halaseliax is aware of the WorldWound, and by extension, I expect the remainder of the elder metallics. An embassy to such select noteworthies would, if successful, increase the puissance of the Crusade dramatically. Mister Whitebane, I expect you are here to influence the Society to understand and sympathize with your homeland, and this might be a direction for which you might plead."
Cor'win Maldrago |
Cor'win looks to Forlindarion and nods.
(Elvish) "I have found my way to learn the proper respect for your people's tongue. I did not take your suggestion to use a magical method to understand it... instead i took time to prefect it."
"i was commenting to Forlindarion, that i learned Learned Elven... i did not wish to be rude."
DesolateHarmony |
"Forgive my inconscience, if you would. I am such the polyglot that pertinent language choice on occasion eludes me. Common, or Taldane, as it is historically known is appropriate for mixed company, here on Kortos." He nods and squeezes the bridge of his nose. "You may find those in Kyonin appreciative of your studies, but some of my kin are ... bigoted, and may apply negative feedback even to your admirable respect."
There's a halfhearted smile. "However, the course of action you suggest might just meet with felicitous results. Having the other sentients of Golarion aid in defense of our world may be what is required."
Ralia "Red" Arcanus |
Cor'win claps his head in remembrance.
"Ellismus and Ralia, there are more dragons then the whites and the green which i can recall. I forgot about the silvers which were visible in the diamond city. The silver dragons aid the crusaders in the conflict with the worldwound... i don't know how i had forgotten..."
He shakes his head.
"well this is new... me forgetting something..."
"Really!? How big were they? What did they do for the defense? Did they live inside the city? Did the bring thier treasure hoards with them to sleep on? Did you ever see them take a humanoid form? Are there scales really so fine and unseeable that it makes thier hides look like mirrors? What was thier prefered method of combat?"
Cor'win Maldrago |
Cor'win nods.
"I learned Elven because of a serious language barrier in a foray in Tanglebriar. Being able to communicate is a valuable thing when your trying to gather allies after all."
He smiles at Red.
"They were extremely far from my positions, like a mirror.... i don't think so. In human form possible, i did not have the time to examine everyone i met in my last trip to Nerosyn. Did i see any take humanoid form, no i did not... though i would be interested in seeing that. Ohh nice you both speak the language of Draconic."
Ellismus the Blue |
Forlanderion looks to the alchemist and raises a brow, unmoving otherwise. He responds in the Common Tongue. "What a strange request. I must admit that I am a student of many human cultures, but that one eludes me."
"Ha! got you to smile! or I think you're smiling... he he he! :)"
Roland Whitebane |
"Forlindarion, sometimes I am unsure of why exactly I am with the society. However I will not plead for assistance for the Mendevian cause though. No, that commitment must come from an informed heart.
More likely would be, were we to fall then those who had decided not to help due to choice, would be then attacked by waves of foul abyssal spawn with number without end. I do not doubt they would attempt to fight back, but do not fail to realise that Demons are an enemy which can use magic to appear behind friendly lines, summon others of their ilk and poison where they pass. We of the crusade have had generations now to forge new methods in fighting the spawn, the others have had no reason to"
"I have heard tales of Dragons, yet never seen one myself. Rumor has it that the Abyss also contains Demons that take the form of Dragons and indeed Dragons that live and lair with Demonspawn. The Crusaders would not refuse the assistance of Dragons were some to offer help."
