An elf of indeterminate age wearing scholarly robes walks with his hands clasped behind his back. He studies the gathered group for a moment, and then starts speaking in a far distant language before gathering himself and shifting to Common.
"Terendelev gave her life in Kenabres, contemporaneously to the unexpected incursion on Nerosyan and the other communities on the border. Halaseliax is aware of the WorldWound, and by extension, I expect the remainder of the elder metallics. An embassy to such select noteworthies would, if successful, increase the puissance of the Crusade dramatically. Mister Whitebane, I expect you are here to influence the Society to understand and sympathize with your homeland, and this might be a direction for which you might plead."

Common, or Taldane, as it is historically known is appropriate for mixed company, here on Kortos." He nods and squeezes the bridge of his nose. "You may find those in Kyonin appreciative of your studies, but some of my kin are ... bigoted, and may apply negative feedback even to your admirable respect."
There's a halfhearted smile. "However, the course of action you suggest might just meet with felicitous results. Having the other sentients of Golarion aid in defense of our world may be what is required."

"Really!? How big were they? What did they do for the defense? Did they live inside the city? Did the bring thier treasure hoards with them to sleep on? Did you ever see them take a humanoid form? Are there scales really so fine and unseeable that it makes thier hides look like mirrors? What was thier prefered method of combat?"

"I learned Elven because of a serious language barrier in a foray in Tanglebriar. Being able to communicate is a valuable thing when your trying to gather allies after all."
He smiles at Red.
"They were extremely far from my positions, like a mirror.... i don't think so. In human form possible, i did not have the time to examine everyone i met in my last trip to Nerosyn. Did i see any take humanoid form, no i did not... though i would be interested in seeing that. Ohh nice you both speak the language of Draconic."
