You probably ought to be aware of the following FAQs as well.
Power Attack: If I am using a two-handed weapon with one hand (such as a lance while mounted), do still I get the +50% damage for using a two-handed weapon?
Yes.
Lance: If I have the pounce ability and I charge with a lance, do my iterative lance attacks get the lance's extra damage multiplier from charging?
No, for two reasons.
One, because a lance only deals extra damage when you’re riding a charging mount—not when you are charging.
Two, even if you have an unusual combination of rules that allows you to ignore the above limitation, it doesn’t makes sense that those iterative attacks gain the damage bonus. To make that second attack, you have to pull the lance back and stab forward again, and that stab doesn’t have the benefit of the charge’s momentum. (The Core Rulebook doesn’t state that you only get the damage multiplier on the first attack with a lance because when the Core Rulebook was published, there was no way for a PC to charge and get multiple attacks with a weapon in the same round, so that combination didn’t need to be addressed.)
Also, depending on how high a level you are playing at, you'll want to make sure to get pounce or some other similar ability, but that's universally true for martial characters.

Vital Strike has been (heatedly) talked about a lot with Mounted Combat. If your DM agrees that it's usable in a mounted charge, as I believe it is, then the Vital Strike chain is excellent for a mounted lancer.
Read this thread to understand this, and mounted combat in general, much better.

I honestly don't know if the second FAQ is saying that pounce and mounted charge work together or not. I completely confused.

yes, it works like any normal reach weapon.
Yeah, it is basically just a longspear with some juicy extra effects.
Anyway, in that line of thought, Combat reflexes is also nice to have on top of all that other stuff since you are still running around with a reach weapon. Why not turn yourself into a 25' across circle of pain while you are doing all that normal skewering? It at least gives you useful options for when you can't get a charge lane.
