The Pratts moved to Seattle, stripping the Southeast of two 5-Star GMs in one fell swoop. Fortunately Shane and Carlos stepped into the breach. So that's a total of FOUR 5-Star GMs that the Far West has gained at the Southeast's expense!

Congratulations Josh! Who's region does Fresno fall under, Michael's, Brent's or Robyn's? Is someone going to induct you or do you have to paddle yourself while reciting the sacred oath? ;) And why are Fresno's municipal borders so worm-eaten? Are those holes all private enclaves or actual municipalities? Can't anyone draw rectangles anymore?

3. The City of Fresno has more important things to worry about than municipal borders, such as kicking homeless people around and shunning our local sports teams.
4. Those are the pockets of communities where people that actually *like* Fresno band together.
5. That would require much more effort than our local political leaders are able to expend.

Indiana currently has five, 5 star GM's.
Also Indiana should be emancipated from the Great Lakes Region, with all the up-coming 5-Star's. I expect close to 10 % total 5 star GM's will be in Indiana. We should simply be referred to as either the Capital, or the District.

I'd like to account for state/territory of residence but A) people move around & B) people don't always advertise their location. Can we just agree that Indiana has a lot of 5-Star GMs?

Did you miss Doug Daulton, (Far West in your parlance, I think) by accident, or because of the controversy over how he got his fifth star?
Unless this is the wrong profile, then Doug Daulton has one star, not five. I'm not familiar with any controversy, but it is entirely possible that what transpired did so before I became actively involved in PFS.

Athurva and Joanna are both married and are from San Diego. Joanna is still down here while Athurva is mostly in Boston with semi-frequent trips back to SD.
I know there's quite a number of 4-star GMs around here just waiting for specials to get that elusive 5th star... at last this year perhaps they will have them!

Interesting. As you can read in this thread, Doug was, at one point, a 5 star GM. I believe that thread also covers, at least to some extent, the controversy I alluded to. And it has a link to an earlier thread, with some of the discussion about Doug D's status.
Apparently, Doug's 5th star was removed, which reverted him to one star status. Color me confused...

There was a small period in time where 5 star GMs had to run games to uphold their 5 star status. Certain 5 stars GMs that had gotten their 5th GM star by other means than running games (for instance by doing great work as convention organisers) didn't do this, so their GM stars reverted to the actual games they had run.
