Tessellated Armor

Advice

I remember there was a type of armor bonus back in 3.5 my players and were wondering if there is an equivalent in pathfinder and if not how much should it cost in pathfinder.

Do you have the original text of the item?

No it was just something I remembered from 3.5, it gave a way to store your armor in a small box and let you put it on as a standard action I believe with a command word.

Box activates into +2 full plate, counts as medium armor, check penalty -4, ASF 25%, hypnotic pattern 1/day

It's a specific armor, rather like Celestial Armor is in Pathfinder

Folding Plate may be your answer.

That looks like your best bet. If you don't want full plate, see if your GM will let you add the ability as a fixed price armor upgrade. +1 full plate usually costs 2,650 gp, and folding plate costs 12,650 gp, so a reasonable fixed price for such an ability would be +10,000 gp.

Can the folding armor be enchanted like normal armor? And as it take up a neck slot, can it have neck type enchantments on it?

What about wearing two neck slot items so when it changes into armor the second amulet takes over?

Im surprised that it hasent been mentioned yet...... But anyone feeling that folding plate could come off as IronMan armor??? If it can be enhanced with other abilities, you could totaly pull it off....

With begs the questions, How/what class would make this work? How would you make a viable Ironman here?

Halfling Synthesist Summoner named Tiny Stark. His edilion armor is from mecanus. Flavor to taste.

You may want to look at the Armiger's Panoply.
7,200 gp/wrist slot: command word to immediately don armor in an accompanying sack, 3 times a day.
