Important 3.5 feats for importing into Pathfinder

Homebrew and House Rules

I'm thinking about 3.5 Feats, that are necessary for certain builds or feats with unique effects, that deserve being important.

Monkey Grip is a feat I'd like to bring over to Pathfinder, cause there is no other way to wield a large Greatsword and this makes it pretty cool.

Practised Spellcaster is an obvious choice for multiclasse casters.

Do you guys have any other ideas?

Just off the top of my head?

Kung Fu Genius, switches Monks from Wis to Int.

Battle Blessing, makes all Paladin spells with full round cast times into standard actions, and standard action spells into swift actions.

Imperious Command, demoralizing a foe with Intimidate causes them to cower in fear for one round, and be shaken in the following round.

Augment Healing

and

Touch of Healing (Reserve Feat)

Were both very popular at my table. Other Reserve Feats as well.

The various multiclass booster feats (Ascetic Stalker, yadda yadda) made some multiclass choices much more viable.

i think there was a carmendine monk feat that did charisma, but the seems like dip fodder for the synethesist.

Yes... don't import feats into Pathfinder which broke 3.5.

Divine Metamagic.

I'll definetely import Kung-Fu Genius and Ascetic Stalker. The Healing ones for a specialized Healer too, maybe. The rest is awesome, but too strong IMO.

I also like Dragon Familiar from the Draconomicon.

Any other ideas?

only thing i'd change is make it so you have to donate 3/4s of your money to charity to maintain.

Double Wand Wielder [General] from Complete Arcane p77. I don't think there's any other way besides gunslingers to go "Pew-pew-pew" with both hands ...

"Somatic Weaponry" so you can cast with your sword in your hand without being a magus or certain bard archetypes

Ascetic Mage is a great feat for Sorcers and other charisma based arcane casters. Only one level of Monk is needed to qualify.

Shield Ward. Pathfinder's only substitute is the mythic versions of Shield Focus.

Oversized Two-Weapon Fighting. Pathfinder's "Improved Balance" ability is only available to fighters that take the "Two-Weapon Warrior" archetype (and even, it takes forever to kick in).

Short Haft. Pathfinder's "Pole Fighting" ability is a poor substitute and only available to fighters that take the "Polearm Master" archetype.

Deft Opportunist. Awesome for use with reach weapons.

Expert Tactician. Couples nicely with "Deft Opportunist"; great for reach builds.

I hardly think "Monkey Grip" could be described as game-breaking, and although not quite as good as "Practiced Spellcaster", Pathfinder has a trait that serves the same purpose.

The Craven feat from Champions of Ruin and the Staggering Strike feat from Complete Adventurer.

you might see some powerful builds get much more powerful, btw put my vote in for flick of the wrist (and i wouldn't change the prereqs, meaning the rogue can pick it up at 2), and weakening touch, and I would let it's effects stack.

Flick of the Wrist reminded me also of Telling Blow, which is another useful rogue booster.

for those that don't know this and i always felt that should just be standard for sneak attack.

That is how it is houseruled in my group. The Rogue needs all the help it can get.

The "Reserve" Feats - allows a wizard to do something even after the first few encounters on low level

I like the martial study feat and the one that gets a stance. This allows anyone to use a maneuver and/or stance from the Book of 9 Swords.

Martial Study. Most important feat.
