For example, I'm trying to stop a nosebleed that seems to have started with no reason.

I am syncing up podcasts - and running late for work.

I am eating milk chocolate malt balls and dark chocolate covered almonds.

Crying.

I'm drinking hard cider, wishing I had some [bubble bubble bubble] and feeling guilty for not working on my goblin paladin for Samnell's Worldwound game.

[Walks away from the keyboard and opens up Goblins of Golarion]

Hee hee! There's a feat named after me!

Ugh. I wish I could make you some hot cocoa, but I'm way down here.

Edit: And I'm also apparently out of cocoa.

Reading threads on MetaFilter in multiple browser tabs, (re)searching stuff on d20pfsrd, and working on a couple beasties for Wayfinder #11.

I'm on a couch, there is a dog laying on me, as my parents watch a crime show in the background, i perceive a slowly filtering light from above. I lay under a blanket to protect myself from a mild chill, while remembering that everything i see, hear, and feel happened 80 milliseconds or more ago, based on the involvement of the phrase "now" in the title, something i cannot experience.

Is that a freakin' haiku? ROFL

But yeah, deities of any system, Judeo-Xtian or otherwise, are going to have to go find their own goats. I'm not sharing with any of them.

Killing a half-hour til dinner is ready, waiting on Wayfinder #10 to be released, and trying to McGyver up the mechanics & still hit my target CR on this pain-in-the-tuckus [REDACTED] for Wayfinder #11

I no longer watch the news or read much of it because of things like that. After awhile, one needs to retreat from the evils of the world.

I hope things improve for you on all fronts.

Cleaning the kitchen, listening to The Clash radio station I have set up on Pandora. Enjoying the bright sunny Saturday morning in Sydney Australia.

Liberty's Edge

Toast the buns, add provolone cheese, roasted bell peppers, then the meat, then homemade giardiniera, then dip in the broth. I basically have to eat these things shirtless standing over the sink if I want to minimize the mess.

My mother in law is developing dementia and it's a hard thing to see. You and your family are in my thoughts.

OK, also looking at the art from the issue posted on dA.

The Exchange

Studying for a test about operating systems, but chances look slim - so many questions seem to be about arbitrary bits of pointless information. Kind of wishing Sunday's test would be about a more mathematical subject.

Contemplating the possibility of doing yet another Mirrodin retro draft on magic online tonight, and feeling bitter about missing the "Born of the Gods" pre-release event today.

Trying to decided if the next book I read after finishing "The Dark Tower" will be a continuation of one of the multiple series I'm reading, or a stand alone.

Trying to decided what will be the best point in the day to just take a break and walk outside for a good 30, refreshing minutes before entombing myself in the room again for yet more "studying".

Sovereign Court

Half-time during the rugby, Wales versus Italy.

Waiting until a computer store opens up so I can replace the stupid mouse before the the Pathfinder game starts up. I have many bad guys to squish with my hammer and its taking the GM too long to start (really? Who wakes up after noon on game day?)

Me... we game at night... lol

Loading up the iPod to go for a walk

Digesting.

BEER. And hot buttered soul.

Huh, I've never heard of a that before, must be above my pay grade. Is it a recipe from Iron Chef Afterlife, with heralds of the Harbinger preparing and serving souls in gastronomically exciting new ways to Chairman Groetus Kaga?

Thank you. I pray your mother in law's dementia can be easily treated.

Unfortunately, it also appears hereditary with my family. My great-grandmother went through the same thing. Couple that with strokes, heart attacks, diabetes, renal problems, cancer...

I am not looking forward to growing old.
