Grates!
T-1000 hands made it! :D

Congratulations to all of those who made it in to the top 32 as well as the alternates. Now to go look at all the cool stuff I didn't see while voting! Good luck with your monsters.
Congrats and good luck top 32!
I liked a few of your items, make me like your monster more!
Oh, and congratulations to my brother on the new spelling of his first name. ;)

It's acceptable that I didn't make it, but I can't believe that Tatiana's Turtle Tureen isn't there...
The description was interesting but it didn't seem to DO anything.

Congratulations to all the Top 32! Good job!
I saw all of these and it is a good assortment of items. GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL!
Congratulations to all who made the top 32! Super excited to use some of these items in my home game... :D
I'm very excited to see the submissions from these folks! What a ride.

Now make those monsters truly outstanding.

Black helicopters are (probably) World Government, and while they are dangerous when dealing with children playing in the scrublands and the sand wastes, they have relatively little interest in the goings-on regarding tabletop interactive roleplaying scenarios and the companies that produce them.
Yellow helicopters, on the other hand, you should be worried about.
Congrats top 32, alternates, everyone else who entered, and anyone else who just needs a pick-me-up ;)
Looking forward to some groovy monsters.
some nice items in the top 32...quite a few I never saw. Looking forward to the top 100 list.
Interesting Top 32. A couple that I never even saw and several entries that I was sure were going to make it are nowhere to be seen.
If there are official comments on the Top 100 I will find them especially interesting this year.
Merry Christmas Everyone!
...
Oh, I mean, congratulations. I'm actually exhilarated I didn't win. The idea of inventing a monster in three days does not appeal to my sensibilities.
A goat bled to honor the victors! Because I found another one after all and, you know, it's a goat. :)
Must invest in a better goat organizer...
I was hoping the alternates items would be revealed this year, I'm extremely curious to see the commentary on mine. Regardless, I'm super excited to be given the opportunity to be an alternate to one of the top 32!

Do we ever get the judge comments on our items if not top 32?

I have offered my Template Fu review to all Top 100 in a separate thread I will be creating at the end of the week, so for now, we should all congratulate the Top 32.
Whoa! Congrats to the top 32! I'll sit on my alternate laurels, thank you very much. Call me if you need me, I'll be at the bar!
EDIT: I'll certainly take advantage of some Template Fu later on this week!
Congrats to the top 32 and alternates!

Congratulations top 32! Nice work. :)

Thanks so much! I'm quite flabbergasted and proud to be among the Top 32 now!

Congratulations! I learned a lot from reading over all your items. I can't wait to see whether I made it in the top 100 and I'm looking forward to judging everyone's mosnters.
Congratz to the top 32, you've done a fantastic job
Is the submission tool for the next round open? I keep getting messages saying that the current round is closed.
Many, many congratulations to the Top 32 & alternates!
Hope the next 3 days are inspired and productive for you...
Just finished reading the Top 32. Congrats to very one and good luck on the next step (with a little extra luck for those that haven't finished their creature).
I'm sure Chris will have the submission tool up and running tomorrow (Wednesday). A lot of stuff had to happen today and we were pretty tight on time. :p

For those who make the Top 100 and aren't a Top 32, if you want to consider whether you want a Template Fu review, I have now posted up my first full review on Andrew's Scourge Vial, so you can see what you will likely be getting.
This will be the format of the review I use for all Top 32 and for all any of the Top 100 who request their item is reviewed in this way.
Naturally I will concentrate on the Top 32 initially, so expect me to open the Top 100 thread in a few days, just hang in there and I will get to you :)
Congrats to the Top 32!! I am looking forward to those urban monsters.

'Grats to the top 32, and 4 alternates. Well done, all.
I'm surprised how many of the top 36 I didn't see come up during voting. Weird. Guess someone has to get stuck sorting the dregs. ;)
Keep up the good work. Looking forward to seeing what you cats whip up for the next round.
How do we know who was top 100? Does that mean there is a way for me to find out my ranking?
I hope so.
I'll be posting the top 100 (alphabetized, not in ranked order) in another thread shortly after 2pm PT today.
Sean K Reynolds wrote: I'll be posting the top 100 (alphabetized, not in ranked order) in another thread shortly after 2pm PT today. I don't mean for this question to sound critical, I am just curious and I couldn't find the answer in other threads.
Is there a particular reason the items aren't in voted order? It seems like that might be pretty useful as I evaluate what I did and how I did it. Maybe I was the (un)lucky guy who ended up high in public vote, but didn't impress the judges. I would love to have that information to be able to look at my item and evaluate how to impress voters AND judges, instead of just one of those groups.
Also, considering the likely scenario that I am not even in the top 100, I would love to be able to know just where I fell in the overall rankings, again so I can have a better idea of how close (or far) I was. If it's not something Paizo does, then I am sure there is a good reason for it. I am just curious what it is!
Thanks!

I kind of see why Paizo might not want to explicitly rank the entries, especially since even the top 32 are not ranked like that. However in lieu of the judge's official comments on the top 100 that did not win, this kind of thing might be important feedback for those who passed the test of the unwashed masses but didn't quite make it.

I totally see why. If you were ranked #12 in votes, but didn't even get to be an alternate, how would you feel?

If I were a judge I wouldn't want someone asking why the #1 voted item was not in the top 32. Heck, I wouldn't want to be asked by guy #32 who didn't make it.

If you plan on entering again next year, you're better off waiting for the "critique my item" thread to open and looking for feedback there. Knowing where you were in the rankings isn't going to tell you how to improve in the future. Getting actual feedback from voters (and possibly judges) will.
