Bardic Stitching (For those animal companions with odd physiology)

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

Does anyone else see this as kinda evil? I mean, in order to do it you either have to use like oil of taggit to put the poor thing under to ease any suffering it might have or any non compliance it might offer or you have to convince with speak with animals which I would think would be a hard sell. In a game with alchemists running rampant and what not....isn't there a more....respectful and safe idea towards the animal? I'm wanting this for a ranger character of mine who will be taking a boa constrictor as his animal companion (With the Racer archetype). Now true I could easily choose a different animal companion but it just seems so fun and interesting. Any thoughts?

tattooing or scaring instead of stitching or etching

I'm not sure what you mean Zotpox, I'm not sure how you could use any of those options to secure a saddle to an unusual creature's body.

Scarab Sages

Druids local 704 considers the use of this item a pointy stick offense.

What is "Bardic Stitching" exactly? I've never seen this before but that's probably because I know jack about the Handle Animal rules and such.

Linky

you sew armor onto the pet... just in case your pet can't wear armor.

Yea, I'm going to say that should be a rather large no-no for a druid lol.

I missed this item in the Animal Archive... Its kinda disturbing
