After the lengthy discussions about whether some threads are too negative or not, I wanted to make sure that we had somewhere that we could discuss things with our younger friends.

Over the years I have found the Paizo forums to be some of the most inclusive and best places to discuss things for individuals of all ages. Sometimes we forget how young we were when we started playing D&D, I know I do. I remember being outcast because I was a girl who liked to read fantasy/sci-fi and 30 years later I still don't know how to put eyeliner on properly.

Please share your experiences and ask your questions. I will definitely follow this thread and I'm sure we can get some discussion going.

Please do not share a lot of personal information, like your age or where you live. I am a mom and I tell my own children the same thing. Do invite your parents, they're probably the reason you were introduced to Pathfinder and I'm sure they would love to see the things that make you tick.

I'm a bitter old man but just wanted to chime in and say I think this is a good idea Mamaursula.

I will go first - I have noticed a few items that have some explanations in them. I am not sure who might have done this, but I do know that part of writing practice involves sharing your thought process. RPG SuperStar is your Final Product. Everything before that is a draft of one kind or another. You can include your thinking process on your drafts to help your proof-readers to understand what you are trying to say, in case you aren't explaining it well enough in the body text.

Entries into RPG SuperStar (or any contest) should have all notes to yourself and others removed from them. This includes indications that it is the "Final Draft" or anything that falls outside of the rules of submission.

When in doubt, have someone else check it out. There are a lot of people on the boards who are happy to be a second set of eyes. I am always ready to help if you can't find anyone else in your own circle of friends.

The very best part of RPG SuperStar is finding people who are interested in the same kinds of things you are and establishing connections for years to come. I have made some great friends here and I look forward to our time together here in contest time.

Good luck to everyone in the voting polls!

Thank you, if it takes off, come back and offer some sage advice to the next generation of game designers! :-)
